With game day approaching seemingly quickly from the first day they were told, the team of Seirin got to work as fast as they were able. Forcing themselves beyond what they were capable of within the blink of an eye just to regret it the next morning and having to start again with the same Fierce training regimen brought on by two parties with different views but the same goal in mind.
However, this first practice was handed to Aida Riko due to Mori Kimiko who kept Hideaki's attention during the training hours. Although that didn't stop him from forming his own plans in his mind for each member that he saw running the court. Half listening to Kimori and paying more attention to the matters at hand.
"Alright!" Riko called out, blowing sharply on her whistle.
The members of Seirin fell, their bodies worn down to the core yet they still found it in them to encircle their coach. Each wiping their faces with their shirts and Jerseys of the dampening sweat that tried to cool them off.
"Great job everyone!" Riko spoke, placing a hand on her hip as she looked out at her team, "You all worked hard today. But it will get harder from here on out!"
Hideaki smiled from the sidelines and shook his head, he knew she was a strict coach and he liked that about her. Just the fact that she was a small being trying her damnedist to control a horde of basketball players from falling apart was the funniest part to him. Managing to pry himself from Kimori he approached the team of Seirin.
"Aida is right, you guys did really well and it will get harder. However," He stated plainly, forcing the eyes of each onto him, "Unlike your lovely coach here, each of you will have individual training by me. Some more than others, but one on one training none the less."
They nodded in reply, their lungs still racing to catch up with their harsh breathing patterns to speak out. Well, except for one.
"Individual huh?" Kagami breathed.
Hideaki nodded, "Since I first saw you lot, I've been pin pointing aspects of yourselves that could both be of use and of fault to the team as a unit. Some of you have something that could drag the team if not trained out or peaked, some it's not a problem."
Kuroko's eyes lingered on Hideaki's figure as he looked out on the team, his words fleeting and murmurs to him at this point. Ever since Hideaki has returned, he couldn't keep his eyes off of him, he was scared that he would just up and vanish again if he took his eyes off of him for more than a few moments at a time.
"Most of your training will come from me, you will have to meet Sato-San on your own time if you truly want one on one training." Riko spoke out.
Hideaki nodded, "Unfortunately that is true, Aida has your full time. If you are dedicated in yourself and what you can do for your team. You'll come find me to practice."
Kuroko smiled, he had done this with the Generation as well. And only those six had ever shown to the individual training that Hideaki had offered and they still impliment his strategies to this day to further themselves.
"Well, I want you all here at 7 am tomorrow morning." Riko stated, taking a deep breath.
"Hideaki, when are your office hours?" Hyuga breathed as he steadied his own breathing.
Hideaki smiled and lifted his chin slightly, "6-9 pm."
The team sounded off with disbelief and Kuroko snickered to himself as he walked up to Hideaki.
"Seriously, again?" He whispered.
Hideaki looked at him, "Of course, if they have what it takes to beat the generation then they have to go through the same ordeal I put them through back then."
