School ends and all I can see and feel is the ground shaking as I hear an explosion nearby. I look to my right and see Branden teleporting backwards towards the school as a man floats towards him, launching fireballs, energy balls, even a type of blaster that I don't recognize.

"Frisk! Asriel! Get everyone back inside, now!" Branden orders and launches multiple bones to counter everything except for the blaster as he uses a green shield to protect us. "Go! Now!"

"What about you?!" I ask him but he uses the blue Soul magic to shove me inside the school building as Asriel runs after me. "I hate when he does that!" I turn and see kids running back into the school building. "Let's find Mom and get to a safe place!" We run inside and Toriel finds us in the hallway. "Mom!"

"My children, what in the world is going on?" She asks before Branden flies through the air and skids past us. "Was that your brother?"

"Mom, we need to get to safety!" Asriel says. "Someone is here and Branden is trying to keep them away!"

"Not. So. Fast." A new voice says and a unseen force blasts Asriel and me away, while the man in the magician's clothes walks towards Toriel. Branden gets to us and helps us up. "You look just as lovely as you did when we locked you underground, your highness."

"Mom!" Branden screams.

"You think she's your mother?" The man says. "That's just precious." He pushes Toriel down and a fireball appears in his hand as he smiles at her.

"Branden, do something!" I say to him. "Stop him!"

"I can't, I'm not strong enough!" He says.

I smack him and he snaps back to me. "You know you're more then strong enough. Stop holding yourself back!"

He looks down and quietly says to himself. "I'm sorry, Sans." Suddenly, his arm is raised and the man flies backwards with a dark blue Soul. "Damn you, Apprentice or whoever the hell you are." I see Branden's eyes change to red and he stands up. "Now you're gonna have a bad time!" Three blasters form and he raises his hand towards the man and all three fire at once. The man is blasted backwards as I'm just able to see him form a shield to protect him. Branden teleports away and I see a red ball fly at the man and catch him off guard and knocks him off his feet. Bones start forming all around the man as he uses his blaster to destroy them all but doesn't hit Branden as he reaches out and grabs the man's Soul again. This time he's thrown upwards into the ceiling as a energy ball is thrown at him too fast for me to track and the man is hit in the chest and he falls downwards quickly as Branden lowers his arm to slam him down. "You tried harming my family, and that was you're second mistake."

The man uses an energy ball of his own as blood comes out of his mouth and nose, before destroying the wall and floating out of the hole. "Don't let him get away!" Someone shouts.

"Everyone get to the Monster village outside of town!" Branden orders. "The Monsters magic will protect you, in case I fail assume this city is no longer safe!" He disappears and everyone seems hesitant.

"We can't just go to the village of Monsters!" Someone shouts.

"They'll kill us and take our Souls!" Another shouts.

"If you don't leave, then you'll die by this magician!" I scream. "They came after a monster but they don't care who gets caught in the crossfire! They destroyed our school and attacked my older Human brother! The Monsters are our only safe haven!"

"Are they right?" I hear someone ask as Mom grabs my hand as Asriel follows closely. "Don't leave us!" They shout and I hear people running close behind us as Mom guides us towards the wall. She pulls out her phone and makes a call to someone.

"Sans?" She says. "We need you to help us at the wall real quick." She pauses. "There's a problem, let Undyne and Asgore know that we need to protect the humans of Ebott City."

"Mom!" We hear Branden's voice say. "Here, this will help!" Suddenly a massive blast hits the wall and destroys it, leaving a large hole for us to go through. "Shit!"

He teleports away again and Mom leads us through the hole. She stands at the hole and pushes us through as she prepares a fire ball attack. "My children, lead everyone back to the village, I will keep everyone safe as they come through this hole."

"Mom, we don't want to lose you!" Asriel shouts.

"I won't fall down anytime soon, my child. Now do as you are told and go back to the village!" Toriel shouts and reluctantly, Asriel and I lead everyone back to our village as Asgore in his golden armor and Undyne in her black Royal Guard armor meet us at the entrance.

"Dad, what do we do?!" Asriel asks Asgore. "There's a man trying to kill us, Branden's fighting him and Mom's at the hole in the wall alone!"

"Sans is helping your mother protect the opening, Asriel." Asgore says. "Everyone, go into the village and go into any home you can. All monsters that are able are outside and ready to defend you all to the best of our abilities!"

People seem hesitant but do as Asgore says. "What can we do, Dad?" I ask.

"Go into the village and find Alphys or Papyrus. Stay in the village until one of us come to get you." Asgore says. "Undyne, make sure nothing gets past you."

"Right!" She says. "I'm glad Branden and I had a quick spar earlier today. I'm all warmed up and ready for anything!"

Asriel and I go into the village and Papyrus comes running around the corner. "Human! Little Asgore! I'm so relieved to see you both are safe!"

"I just hope Mom and Branden will be fine." I say.

"You're mother and brother are quite capable, I assure you." Papyrus says to reassure me. "Branden is able to keep up with Undyne and myself for quite a while at full strength. And your mother is the former queen of all monsters."

"We just have to put our faith in them, Frisk." Asriel says. "I just hope I don't have to fight myself. I'm not sure if I'm ready to use my abilities yet."

"Not to fear!" Papyrus says. "The Great Papyrus will keep you both safe!"

"Thanks, Papyrus." I say and sigh as we go to a small park in the village. "I hope everything works out." But in my mind, I wonder if I should grab a knife and help Branden as best I can. I hear the sounds of battle from the center of the village. More people start to walk around the village as they make their way to the homes in town before I sigh and wait. "I hate this."
