You woke up to the light peeking through the small 'window' in your tent from the sunrise. "Another day in the apocalypse" you thought to yourself. You look around for the one thing (or should I say one person) keeping you sane. "Where's Five?" You thought to yourself. He wasn't in the tent, but surly he was outside looking for something to eat. You searched all around the tent, went back to the burnt down academy, and even to what was left of the library. he was nowhere to be found. You stood silently at the thought that you were now completely and utterly alone. Tears began to trickle down your cheeks "Five.." You whispered to yourself in disbelief hoping and praying he was somewhere to be found. "Five!" You screamed, your bottom lip began to quiver as tears were now streaming down your face, you ran back to the tent thinking he might have showed up. "Five, were are you!" You said through the tears. You drop to your knees in disbelief "Five come back!"
You shot up in your bed, face soaked with tears. You look to your clock the time read 3:45am. You got up and ran to Fives room and peeked inside, you let out a sigh of relief as he lay there fast asleep. You walked up to him and shook him slightly. He let out a small groan, you knelt down at his bedside and whispered to him "Five, I-I can't sleep." He rubbed his eyes determined to wake up, he turned on the light on his side table and noticed your tear stained face "y/n what happened?" He asked as he sat up, taking in your features. "I-I had a dream again.. about the apocalypse. I was alone" you began tearing up again at the thought "you were no where to be found." A single tear crawled down your cheek as you wrapped your arms around Fives neck. He pulled away slightly and wiped the tear off your face. He held your cheek in his hand as he whispered to you "well I'm here now, and I'm never leaving" he scooted over in the bed to make space for you. You climbed in the bed next to him and laid your head on his chest, he wrapped his arms around your waist tightly with no intention of letting go. "Do you promise?" You asked with a shaky voice "promise you'll never leave me?" "I promise."
