"I love how you love me."
I giggled slightly as I replayed the phrase in my head. "Pardon me?" I asked as a small smile made its way to my lips "you heard me, I love how you love me." he replied.
I really didn't know what to say "what exactly do you mean by that?"
curious to where he was going with this i shifted on his bed so that i faced him. i had my legs crossed and my hands in my lap waiting impatiently for him to continue.
"well... i love how your eyes close, whenever you kiss me..." he began
"and when i'm away from you, i love how you miss me."
"i just love how you always treat me tenderly. but darling most of all, i love how you love me."
i was at a loss for words. my eyes began to fill with tears, happy tears, for i felt my heart swell at his words. and just when i thought he was done...
"i love how your heart beats, whenever i hold you. and how you think of me, without being told too."
"i love the way your touch is always heavenly, but baby most of all, i love how you love me."
"i just love everything about you, like the way you hug me and squeeze me and tease me and please me! but darling most of all i love how you love me..."
speechless, i was speechless to say the very least. i was overwhelmed with such love and adoration for this boy. i just couldn't put it into words.
without a second thought i leaped into his lap with my arms spread far apart and the second we made contact i wrapped my arms tight around his neck, as if he would disappear if i let go. he returned the hug, wrapping his arms around my waist. i felt a few tears slip from my eyes and onto this shoulder.
finally when i let go i looked him straight in the eyes. i had a hard time putting all my emotions into words so i said the first thing that came to mind "god i love you."
