Diary;

Emmerson is now twenty-four years old, and I am now one hundred and twenty-five years old. We are now officially husband and wife. Brutas has been very happy living as a domesticated dog, although Emerson and I have woken up to several dead animal bodies at the foot of our bed, but none the less...

Currently, I am pregnant with Emmerson's first child. I have not told him yet. I have been waiting to tell him for when he comes back home from work.

Oh, diary! I swoon currently! Emmerson has changed into a full vampire, much like me, now and forevermore.

How, you may ask? The answer is quite simple.

Five years ago, when we were fist dealing with Alex, Matthew, and the fact that Emmerson had given me some of his blood, which I am still furious with him about, we had gotten back home, and Brutas got very comfortable in the main hallway on one of the many chairs that lined the main staircase, leading to the upstairs.

“Emmerson...you never did tell me how you brought me back from dying...how you managed to save me...”

He sighed reluctantly, as if he was praying I would not ask him that. “I...I gave you some of my blood. It was the only thing I could think of.”

I went rigid. I was standing by the basement stairs, completely shocked. “What?!”

He nodded a mix of guilt and fear in his eyes. “It was the only thing I would think of right then and there...”

I sighed and shook my head. “Come here, Emmerson.”

Emmerson walked over to me, and I hugged him, tears rolling down my cheeks. “I am so sorry Emmerson...”

“Why are you sorry?”

“Because you are dying...”

Emmerson stiffened, tensing up more than I had when Matthew kissed me. “What?”

I nodded. “Because of the enzymes in my saliva, it will start attacking your nervous system and blood vessels in your blood stream. That is why vampires always drain their victims. Because the death is agonizing.”

He cursed and held me tighter, and rested his chin on the top of my head. “Damnit.”

“There is one way to save you...” I whispered against his chest.

“What is it?”

I hesitated, and then looked into his eyes. “Give you some of my blood. It will have a reverse effect on the enzymes of my saliva, because the enzymes will recognize it, and stop attacking you. My blood should save you, but...it will also cause you to turn into a vampire...”

Emmerson breathed in deeply. “Will it work?”

I nodded. “It should, yes.”

Emmerson kissed me again. “Then let's do it.”

“Okay...”

I bit my wrist and tore off a chunk of skin so that I was bleeding. Emmerson to my wrist gently, kissed the open wound, and then began to drink. I placed my free hand on the back of his head, keeping him close to my wrist.

I shivered as he pressed me against a wall, pressing himself against me. I knew that I should pull away soon, too much and it would be the end of both of us. But, at the same time...he needed my blood to survive...

In the end, I pulled my wrist away from his sweet kiss. Emmerson made a soft grown of protest, but did not pursue my wrist. The wound closed itself almost instantly, and I lead Emmerson down to the darkened basement.

“It should take a full twenty-four hours before you become a vampire...” I stated softly, as we lay down. “It should be painless, but if there is any pain, it would just be your body, so do not reject it.”

Emmerson paled, and I snuggled up closer to him. “Should I be scared?”

I simply shook my head. “No, I shall be by your side the whole time.”

And, after that night of rest, Emmerson has become a full-fledged vampire. I smile as I remembered how well he took the change. As if it were nothing at all.

and, at last, Emmerson is home. I should tell him the amazing news.

“Mila?” Emmerson called.

I jogged upstairs, and laughed when I saw Brutas on top of Emmerson, licking his face like a pup, still.

“Brutas, down boy!”

Brutas jumped down, and I helped Emmerson up.

“Thanks, darling.” Emmerson stated, kissing my cheek.

“Anytime, love. I have some amazing news!”

He raised an eyebrow at me. “Oh? What's the amazing news?”

I smiled and took his hands in mine. “You are going to be a father.”

“Seriously!?” Emmerson asked his eyes wide and full of excitement.

I nodded, smiling. “Yes, I am four weeks pregnant.”

Emmerson picked me up into a hug. I kissed him and we headed down to the basement as the harsh rays of sunlight started to shine through the windows upstairs.

I'm sorry, Diary. But I have to rest. Being pregnant can cause me to become very sleepy. I must rest.

Goodnight, for now.
