October 31st, 2013 LATER ENTRY
Diary;
Another year today. One hundred twenty years old...sometimes I hate being a vampire...correction; I really just HATE being a vampire! It annoys me! Almost as much as I was scared of what I discovered in Alex's thoughts. Especially where Emmerson and I were concerned.
She wants to kill me.
I have been hiding out in Emmerson's basement, playing my violin quietly. I missed him already. Any time that I am not around him, my heart breaks and my soul cries out for him. Whenever we are together, I feel so amazingly happy! But, now that we are apart; it breaks my heart and damages my soul.
Two blood bags have been knocked down into my system. and I find myself quiet energized, even as I sit here on the bed, with just you and myself. I look around Emmerson's basement, and find myself tempted to make curtains for the windows of this cozy cavern of Emmerson's basement. The room where so much love was made...
I just can't get over the fact that Emmerson is away, even if it is so he can pay for himself, this house...and any other expenses that he may have...like me.
I felt horrible for putting him through this...dealing with Alex and her dark thoughts, especially where I am concerned. She wants me dead, diary. I do not know why, she just does. I believe that it is because she wants Emmerson back, and I am in the way, but that is just my theory.
“Mila?” I heard Emmerson call, closing and locking the door.
“Down here, sweetheart!” I called from the basement.
Emmerson bounced down the stairs, smiling and pulled me into a hug. “Tonight's Halloween and...there is a lot of spooky things that we could do around town...I know a few places we could go...but it's up to you. What do you want to do?”
I thought for a moment. “I don't know. Personally, I do not care. So long as I'm with you, we could go anywhere, even some place dreadful, and I would not care.”
Emmerson smiled, and put his sweater over my shoulders, like a true gentlemen. “Well then my dear, get ready for some fun tonight.”
He winked at me, walked me up the stairs, flicking off the lights as we left, grabbed his jacket form the coat-rack, and placed his arm around my waist after locking the door.
Emmerson helped me into his truck, closed the door, jogged over, hoped into the driver side, started up the engine, and started to drive towards the cemetery where we met. What on Earth did he have in mind for tonight?
