October 31st, 2013 EXTREAMLY EARLY ENTRY

Mila and I had gotten home from the hospital and a quick bit of clothes shopping earlier, around half-past midnight. Mila was completely and utterly exhausted. She nearly fell down the whole flight of stairs into the basement. I grabbed her waist to stop her from falling down and pulled her against me.

“Sorry Emmerson,” she apologized sleepily. “I am just so tired and drained.”

I smiled at her. “I've noticed. C'mon, you should sleep. Where do you want to sleep? Basement again or upstairs?”

She stretched and shuddered. “Do you...”

“Want to sleep next to you?” I stated, smirking. “Of course!”

Mila laughed and put her arms around my neck carefully. “You know something? I really hate how you know precisely what I'm about to say before I even fully say it.”

I laughed with her, kissed her, and swept her off her feet. You know, the way that those super heroes and knights hold maidens and what not. “Oh, now you tell me!” I winked at her. “But next to you? Hell yes!”

Mila blushed and rested her forehead against mine. “Then wherever you want to rest...I am not picky.”

I rolled my eyes and carried her into the basement carefully. She shared my eye roll as I laid her down gently, and then lay beside her, covering both of us with the blankets. Mila nuzzled herself into me and I wrapped her in my arms.

“Do you have any siblings?” she asked, tracing my arm gently.

“Nope. An only child.” I stated. “You?”

“One sister. Unfortunately, she is the reason why I refuse to drink from humans...”

I held her closer and felt my own heart break from the pain of trying to imagine how Mila felt. I laid my cheek against the top of her head, and shuddered as she kissed my wrist.

I looked down at her, and saw her tears. I took her face into my hands gently and kissed her tears, dried her eyes, then kissed her again.

“I am so terribly sorry, Mila. I can't even begin to imagine how you feel.”

Moonlight shone through the window and caught Mila's skin and hair. Her skin looked paler, but where her tears had streamed looked like my skin tone. and her hair shone brown, red, blonde, and black with tiny hints of blue. Her blue eyes shone almost as brilliantly as the moonlight coming from the window.

Jesus, she looked like a freaking goddess!

“Emmerson...you have no reason to apologize for wondering about my family...it is perfectly natura-”

She hardly finished her sentence because my lips found hers and they refused to part from each other. Mila's hands fisted in my hair and she pulled me closer to her. I ran my hands along her sides and pressed myself gently against her.

We broke apart, gasping for air, but we didn't pull away. Mila's hands moved downward from my hair to the back of my neck. My hands continued to trace and caress her sides softly. Mila rested her forehead and kissed my chin.

“You okay?” I asked her softly.

She nodded. “My body feels like it’s on fire...”

I let my lips trace her neck and my hands stroked her hair. My lips reached her scar, the sign that she was a vampire, and she instantly tensed up. I kissed the scar and looked at her.

“Do you want me to stop? You can ask me to stop anytime if you are uncomfortable...”

“No, please don't stop...” Mila whispered.

I nodded and kissed the hollow base of her throat, where most people feel their partner’s heartbeat. For Mila, there was none. No blood flowing. But, that was the last thing I cared about. I traced her beautiful, precious face. I didn't want to go too fast with Mila, but for some strange reason, I wanted to make her mind before something bad happened to either of us.

My hands slid underneath her dress and my lips captured her's once again. My hands caressed her stomach and sides gently, which felt like I was touching a thick block of ice. Mila's hands soon were underneath my shirt, caressing my chest gently. I slipped off my shirt, kissed her again, the kissed her stomach.

“Emmerson....” she half whispered, half moaned.

“Mila...” I whispered, my lips brushing her's.

She kissed me gently and we were gone. Her dress came off almost as fast as she had taken off my shirt. My jeans were tossed and I never let my lips leave hers unless I had to so we could breathe, but I knew that by the end of the night, we'd be completely out of breath.
