Lance POV

Keith led me down a few hallways and turns before stopping in front of a door. He punched in code, allowing the door to swish open and reveal a plain room with a bed pushed up against the wall.

"Sorry it's not much-" Keith cut off after seeing my excited face.

It's perfect!
I wrote out, twirling around, arms outstretched, before falling down onto the bed. I stared up at the ceiling, listening to Keith laugh.

What a beautiful sound.

'Wait, what?'

I blushed from my thoughts, and turned my head away from the door where Keith still stood.
I sat up and quickly wrote.

Is there anything I can decorate with?

"Um, yeah. We have an extra hanger where we keep most of our junk and what we found when we got here from other's rooms." Keith responded.

I nodded excitedly.
Where is it?

"I guess I'll just take you there."

I stood up quickly and followed Keith down yet another series of hallways before we wound up in an enormous room filled with giant piles of new treasure.

I got started immediately, finding fairy lights (some bulbs broken, but fixable), posters, pots, flower seeds, broken mirror pieces, glass jars, blue and black stones and marbles, half empty cans of paint, used acrylic paints tubes, and paint brushes.

I'm done. Can we go back now?

Keith nodded and began to help me gather everything before heading back down the hallways.
As soon as we got back I dumped everything on the bed and shooed Keith out.

"Hey! Wha-!" Keith protested.

I'll come get you later when I'm done.

Keith nodded, hesitantly, before setting off down the hall once more.

I sighed before looking around and getting quickly to work.

*Time skip- 2 vargas later*

I sighed as I put down the finishing touches before sitting down on the small bed.

I opened my bedroom door before exiting and trying to fin my way back to the kitchen.

Key word: try.

After wandering for a bit, I found myself in that blue lion's room. It had a blue barrier surrounding it and it's eyes weren't glowing anymore.
Curiosity won over my fear of the mechanical blue lion as I walked over the edge of the barrier. Reaching out my hand, I gently brushed the blue magic. I felt a small zap in my fingertips before the shield fell and the lion's eyes began to glow again.

Shit, shit, shit. Not again.

I jumped quickly away from the robot and pressed my back against the hanger wall.
The giant metal beast made its way slowly towards me stopping right in front of me.

I closed my eyes out of fear and whimpered, wanting it away from me.

Look at you. Pathetic.

Oh god not right now.

You're so weak. You can't even open your eyes.

Shut up! Shut up. shut up...

Tears streamed down my face as I slid down the wall, battling a panic attack. Suddenly, I felt those comforting waves again.

My breathing slowed after a moment, before I cracked my eyes open the see the blue lion laying down near me, her golden eyes closed.

I moved slightly and she picked her head up, opening her eyes to look at me. I stood up quietly, and slowly put out my hand towards her.

Please don't hurt me, please don't hurt me.

I thought as I moved closer to her. I squeezed my eyes shut again as I got closer to her, opening them only again when I felt her put her nose into my palm.

I let out a gasp as I felt an internal connection with our spirits intertwining with each other's.

Don't be afraid anymore little Cub.

No one's POV

"Hey, has anyone seen Lance? He wasn't in his room decorating anymore." Keith asked walking into the kitchen.

"I'll just trace his heat signature." Allura said, pulling up a map of the castle. "It looks like he's in the Blue Lion's hanger. But then, why isn't she freaking out, she never lets anyone in there unless..."
Allura gasped and ran out of the room.

The Paladins and Coran all looked at each other before running out after her.
The Princess stopped in front of the hanger door before opening it quickly and looking inside.

"Princess what's going on-" Pidge started, they suddenly stopped at what they saw.

Allura took in the sight of Lance sleeping peacefully between Blue's paws, her eyes staring at the newcomers as if challenging them to take him from her.

"Well team," Shiro said quietly, "looks like we found our blue paladin."
