Changing Things Up a Bit

(*Slams phone against head repeatedly*)

Lewis stood up from the couch and made his way to the kitchen to get a snack, leaving Hailee to style Will's hair some more. The older male chuckled as he ran one of his hands through his cornrowed hair. "I've been thinking about bleaching it, you know? I'm getting tired of the black."

Hailee smiled at the thought. "I think you should go for it, Will. You looked good as a blonde."

"Really? I thought I looked like a dork."

"You still look like a dork. Sound like one too."

Will chuckled and called for his fiancé, who came back with a chocolate bar in hand.

"Would you like it if I bleached my hair?" The musician asked as he stood up and walked over to the gamer. Lewis smiled and took Will's hands into his own. "I would love that! You looked so cute when you were a blonde!"

Will chuckled and kissed Lewis's nose. "Then it's settled. I still have some of that bleach shit in the bathroom somewhere."

Will's hair was back to normal as Hailee unwillingly took out all the cornrows. The duo stood in the bathroom with the bleach sitting on the counter, ready to go. The purple was cool and all, but it was getting old for Will.

Hailee began applying the bleach in Will's hair, excited that the older male was going to be a blonde again. "Goddamn, it's cold." The older male whined as Hailee's gloved hand made contact with his scalp. The teenager scoffed and continued applying the bleach. "Quit complaining, I do this all the time with a smile on my face."

Will rolled his eyes and stared into the mirror, feeling quite confident about this decision. "Did you really like it when my hair was blonde?"

"Totally." Hailee nodded.

"I haven't done this in a while so I forgot how long we have to keep the bleach in." Will said, trying desperately to keep himself from scratching his head.

"For me, I have to keep it in for an hour, but your hair is thin so it will stay in for thirty minutes."

Will nodded and looked at himself in the mirror again. This was gonna be great.
