A/N: I'm running out of ideas (YOLO)

Bright green and dark blue sheets covered the guest bed, and were still warm from the dryer. Lewis sat down on top of them and sighed,  looking at the ceiling fan as it went around. He had a few minutes before he had to be at the door for Will's arrival. Twenty minutes, in fact. Happy thoughts went through his mind during that time, adventures and challenges he and Will could do together, theories they could make, or jokes they could share and laugh at.

But one thought canceled all those happy ones instantly:

How can I tell Will how I really feel about him?

He could just try to keep it to himself, but there was no denying the fact that he was falling in love with his best friend. Love...that word felt like stones rolling in the back of his brain. Shaking his head in denial, Lewis did nothing but make the stones bang against his skull harder. Sleep never really happen that night, either. His body was exhausted, but his mind would not let him drift off. He now knew why his soul ached now. That the twisted feeling inside his chest was for Will.

It was easier thinking that he needed to go back to the doctor for a check up, or that the burning at the top of his rib were from eating too fast or too much.

But still...

Lewis never realized how much he had missed that feeling. How it made the sun brighter than ever,  and wanted him to hum along to the sweet love songs on the radio.

He needed to do something important for Will, even if he never knew how he truly felt in any way, but what?

A knock at the front door interrupted his thoughts.

Glancing at his window, Lewis saw that it was gradually getting lighter outside. Had he really been laying bed for so long trying to figure things out?

Getting up and pulling on a pair of socks and a grey t-shirt, Lewis adjusted his jogging pants slightly, and began to head down the hallway. He approached the front door and sure enough, Will was standing outside, a suitcase beside him.

Lewis opened the door, smiled, and pulled Will in for a hug. "Hey, Will. I'm so glad you're here. Now I won't be lonely!" He cheered. Will hugged back with a joyful chuckle. "I told you I'd keep you company. What kind a friend would I be if I let you spend Christmas alone? Or your birthday for that matter?"

"Thank you. Just...thank you so much for being a good friend."

Will pat Lewis on the back, pulling away from the hug. "Don't mention it, Lewis. I'm always here to help. Now, let's get this party started!"

Lewis's heart skipped a beat as Will looked up at him with his Caribbean blue eyes.

'Oh sugar, what am I going to do now?'
