A Deal To Help Hailee

(I had an idea here. This is what it turned into. Enjoy!)

One month later....

"You still wanna play the piano tomorrow?"

Will asked as he buttoned up his tuxedo and looked over at the quiet teenager who sat in the gazebo with him. The girl hadn't said a word since Will comforted her the month before. She started eating less and her sleeping schedule was absolutely awful. The fear of being forgotten and ignored had grown since the month prior as well and Rose's inactivity on social media didn't help that fear at all. She hadn't texted her once since she had gone back home after Hailee's self harm episode. The person who was basically a second sister to the teenager didn't want to even talk to her. It was almost enough to drive Hailee completely insane.

"Hailee....talk to me. I really want you involved in this wedding. Maybe you'll have a shot to sing for everyone? You wanted to do that, right?" Will's tone was desperate, but Hailee remained silent, a twitch in her eye as they began to redden and water.

Maybe Rose was too busy to talk to her? Or maybe she had her own problems to deal with? Either way, Hailee was devastated. Everyone she ever talked to had started to grow distant with her. Very distant. Why bother opening your mouth to people when it comes to bite you in the ass in the end? When they don't even care anymore.

Playing with the rings on her fingers, Hailee  just stood up and walked out of the gazebo, ignoring Will's cries for her to come back. She wanted to be alone.

"You want us to what?" The Jewish boy asked, shushing his loud friends beside him. He wasn't sure how Will got his number, but he was intrigued by the topic of their conversation: Hailee. And yeah maybe it was true that he hadn't talked to the girl for a whole year, but he still cared about her. She did stand up for him at school after all. She also spent her hard earned money to buy him something he always wanted: A Spider-Man Homecoming Funko Pop.  He didn't even know if he told her he wanted it or not, but he was still extremely grateful for it.

"Please, I'll pay for the flights. I'll give you whatever you want, okay? You name it and I'll give it to you. Hailee needs you, all of you. She hasn't said a word for a whole month. " Will begged, clutching his phone tightly as he paced around the picnic bench area. He was very desperate to make Hailee happy, even though tomorrow was his big day and not hers.

The young boy sighed, surely realizing how serious this call really was. He mumbled something to the group beside him before they all started agreeing to it.

"We'll do it, but you're not gonna pay for the flights. We are. All we want is Hailee's happiness."

Will sighed in relief and thanked the group of teenagers profusely.
