Chapter Seven

PERCY'S POV

I was spending the night at Jason's with Leo, when a horrible thought comes to mind.

If I am dating Zoe, but I love Drew, who do I ask to prom?

Yes, yes, your probably thinking, why won't you just break up with Zoe?
You see, if I do that, Zoe will be crushed, and I don't crush any girls, or anyone. I have no idea why Annabeth broke up with me, I mean, we were soo perfect.

There was no way she could've known about Drew. We were so smart and cautious about when and where to meet. It ended up being twice or three times a week under the bleachers, and sometimes she would come over to my house on Saturdays or Sundays. Of course, it was when Annabeth was at her cousin, Magnus's house for the winter. And when anyone found out about it, I made sure that that person totally agrees with me.

It's Jason.

He knows about nearly everything I do.

But for some reason Annabeth now doesn't trust me.
We had been on a late night shopping trip to get pizza and stuff when we ran into Rachel, Piper, Reyna and

Annabeth.

They were just about to turn around and enter Reyna's house when my reflexes kick in. I wasn't going to let Annabeth walk away, was I? She totally overreacted by screaming "LET GO OF ME". But what really set her off was me saying that she should trust me. She literally burst into tears and ran off after yelling at me.

I should probably get up now and stop over thinking everything. My watch is dead. I sigh. I hop off the mattress, careful not to wake Leo, and walk to Jason's kitchen. His microwave read 23:04:36, to be precise. I was ready to go back to sleep when I got a text.

Drew: Hey Perce
Percy: Hi Babe
Drew: I'm lonely😟
Percy: Awww... How can I help?
Drew: Idk. Wanna come over?
Percy: It's the middle of the night...
Drew: So? I'll just call my parents to see if its okay.

I waited for about five minuutes and then I  decided to go to another room so I  didn't wake the others. After nearly ten minutes, Drew had called back.
"Hey Babe!" Drew said.
"Hey Drew! How did your parents answer?"
"Oh yeah, they're both out of town this weekend."
"Oh really? Cool"
"Hey, you can come over still. You can spend the night if you what." I could hear her voice dripping with charm speak as she said it. But I would've obeyed anyway. She was a great host when I last came over, anyway. Especially since I'm spending the night. I texted her some more before leaving a quickly written note to Jason about going home early.
