ANNABETH POV
I came back to camp that same day, after having lunch with Sally. I entered camp, and saw Thalia talking with Rachel and Piper. They waved me over.
"What's up?" I asked them.
Rachel scoffed, "Percy went around asking us all for forgiveness today." She said bluntly.
I laughed, "Really?" I didn't think he would actually go ask immediately. He was actually serious about this.
Piper nodded, "Mhmm."
"Did he get any?" I asked curiously.
"I forgave him." Thalia said. "But told him he was dead if he ever did anything like that again to you."
"I forgave him too," Rachel said, "But I didn't give any threats I don't think."
I laughed, "What about you Piper?"
Piper folded his arms, "I'm not forgiving him just yet. I mean, I'm sure I will, at some point in my live, but like, not right now."
I sighed. I hoped everyone would've forgave him. I just wanted this whole situation behind us, but I understood what she meant. I mean, it's not like I'm going to start dating him right away again either.
...
I ran into Percy this evening.
"Hi Percy." I said tentatively, smiling softly,
He gave me a sideways smile, "Hey, I completed the first thing you wanted me to do. Thalia and Rachel forgave me. Nico and Piper needed some time."
I nodded, "That was expected."
"Can I have something else to do, please?" He asked, smiled eagerly at me, radiating extreme golden retriever energy. It was the something about him that made me not want to refuse, as if there was a little eager puppy inside of him.
"Fine." I said. "End things with Drew. For real."
Percy seemed confused, "But I'm not seeing her anymore-"
"Does she know that its definitely over?"
"Well, no-"
"Then telling her is your next thing to do!" I said.
"Ok!" Percy cried. "I can do that."
Percy's pov.
I knocked on the Aphrodite cabin door.
A girl called Lucy opened it for me, "Hey Percy, what do you need?" She asked.
"I'm just wondering if Drew is around. I need to talk to her." I told Lucy.
Lucy nodded, "Oh yeah. Drew is actually right here, it's only me and here right now. Piper took the rest of them to the beach and neither of us like swimming."
"Oh thanks Lucy." I said, "Can I come in?"
Lucy smiled, "For sure!" She gestured for me to enter.
Drew was on her bunk, eyeing me too familiarly.
"Lucy?" Drew asked.
"Yeah?"
"Could you leave please?" Drew said. "Percy and I need to have this talk in private."
Lucy frowned, "The rule is that there had to be another person in the cabin if it is just a boy and a girl, well now anybody from different cabins because of Will and Nico, and- anyways! You know the rules Drew."
I held my hand up, "Lucy calm down, we'll just be talking, don't worry."
Lucy still looked suspicious but left the Cabin anyways.
When I looked back to Drew she was walking towards me, "So what did wanna talk about, Percy?"
She whispered the words, but the way she said them made them feel dangerous. And I was fully aware at the speed of which she was approaching me.
"Look Drew," I said. "We need to clarify some things. You need to know that..." I realised Drew wasn't paying attention to me. Oh well, she was, but not to the words I was saying. Moreso just my body.
She was breathing heavily. "Come on Percy, you're talking too much today," She licked her lips, "Lucy won't come back, she knows better than that." Drew made to slip off her top, but I grabbed her wrist.
"We are keeping our clothes on Drew." I told her. "You have to listen to me."
Drew bit her bottom lip and took a step closer to me, running her fingers up and down my arm.
"You wanna keep it a bit more pg now then?" Drew asked. "That's okay, but I have the cabin to myself tonight, the rest of them are having a sleepover with the Athena cabin. I said I didn't want to do, in case you happened to pop by for a- a visit."
I rolled my eyes, "Drew I'm trying to tell you something. I don't love you! I never loved you! We need to stop seeing each other!"
Drew seemed fazed, but only for a second, "Oh but love is just a word Percy." She said. "We know everything about each other. I know your taste, you know mine. We fit perfectly together Percy, we-"
"No Drew!" I cried. "You need to stop this. I love Annabeth! I don't want to do this with you anymore!"
Drew narrowed her eyes. "No." She said in charmspeak.
I gulped and help my ground, fighting the charmspeak. "Drew, I came here to end things." I told her.
She sneered at me, "I will forever want you, Perceus Jackson."
I rolled my eyes and turned away, "Fuck you." I said.
She grabbed my wrist and pulled my close to her. She pulled me down my the neck and talked to me with her lips mere centimetres from mine, "Yes, fuck me."
I fought it down again. I pushed her off me, "No. I'm leaving, and never talking to you again." I insisted.
Drew sneered again in frustration. "You're a dick!" She yelled at me, but I didn't care. At least she knew it was over now. And I felt cleansed.
Time to tell Annabeth.
