Chapter 12: Confess

While Xu Ming was meeting with Su Nan, Xu Qin, on the other hand, has just finished his meeting.

‘’You will have a meeting with President Qu in another 30 minutes then…’’

Yan Jin trailed off his sentence when he saw someone suddenly stepped in their way.

Seeing that it was Chen Xin, Yan Jin promptly glanced at Xu Qin to which the latter lightly waved his right hand indicating for him to give them some time alone.

Therefore, Yan Jin respectfully bowed,’’Then I will go look over the contract, please excuse me.’’

‘’State your business.’’Indifferently spoke Xu Qin.

Chen Xin was hurt by his unfriendly tone but she calmed herself down to ask,’’Why didn’t you pick up my call?’’

‘’Was it urgent?’’

Hearing this, Chen Xin looked at him in disbelief. She knew him well to know what was he implying at.

It meant that he considered her call to be something useless!

She questioned him in a slightly shaky voice,’’Why are you angry with me?’’

Xu Qin simply raised an eyebrow at her question,’’You don’t know what you did wrong?’’

Even though she knew that she was being ridiculed, she still shook her head in return.

Therefore, Xu Qin slightly straightened his back then said,’’Beside my family, I hate others interfere with my matter the most. I have been lenient toward you due to your grandfather had once saved my grandfather’s life so don’t overstep your boundary if you don’t want to be at odds with me.’’

Chen Xin’s eyes began to feel hot, she softly said,’’Is it because of that woman? Fine, it is my fault for wanting to know about you two’s matter so badly that I asked Su Gao but was it that bad for you to even want to sever our friendship?’’

‘’Do you know how devastated I was when I got the news of you getting married? If the girl was someone special, I wouldn’t mind. However, she was obviously just a gold digger! I couldn’t bring myself to accept the fact that I lost to that kind of a woman! What’s more, you think I don’t know that your daughter always had that sad looks on her face whenever her mother was being mentioned? Why do you still keep that kind of person by your side?!’’

Tears then began to flow down creating two streaks of lines on her beautiful face.

He doesn’t like women with heavy makeup and wearing perfume so she always wore light makeup and used perfume that had a mild scent.

He doesn’t like someone who is too delicate,therefore, she learned to be a strong woman who doesn’t need to rely on a man.

He doesn’t like someone who keep on pestering him so she waits and waits until she turned 30 and she still hasn’t gotten married yet.

Others often told her to give up but she was actually the one who wanted to give up the most.

Since she too, felt tired of chasing him.

Chen Xin quickly wiped away her tears then turned around,’’Fine. Since you don’t want to see me, I will get out of your sight.’’

She hurriedly walked toward the elevator and instantly got into her car before someone could see her ugly face.

An Ke glanced at the rearview mirror then gave a sigh.

He took out his handkerchief then gave it to her without looking back,‘’Here.’’

Chen Xin paused for a bit then finally took it from his hand and immediately used it to blow her nose. She was about to thank him when An Ke suddenly said,’’Ai, so disgusting!’’

Chen Xin’s whatever grateful feeling instantly dissipated into thin air, she hatefully glared at him,’’You want to get fired?!’’

While turning the steering-wheel, An Ke said in an exaggerated tone,’’Ah, I’m so scared, please don’t fire me!’’

Chen Xin was so angry with him that she strongly kicked the back of his seat but An Ke didn’t care, he teasingly said,’’Tsk, tsk, who knows that the elegant virtuous Ms. Chen is actually someone with a short temper?’’

‘’Just focus on driving or the next kick will be right at your son!’’

An Ke,’’……’’It definitely came from the same person but how come the treatment between him and Xu Qin is a mile apart?

Nevertheless, An Ke still valued his treasured son and finally shut his mouth.

In the evening, Xu Qin went to pick up his daughter as usual but once he got home, Xu Lin suddenly told him that Xu Ming went out due to a personal affair.

Just by hearing this, Xu Qin immediately figured out that the other person finally began to make her move on the Su family so he found an excuse for her.

‘’Seem like she has gone to the hospital.’’

Xu Chen worriedly asked,’’Was it because of her previous accident?’’

Xu Qin replied with a nod,’’Just a regular check-up suggested by Doctor Lu.’’

‘’Oh, so when will she come back?’’Asked Madame Xu.

‘’Might be a bit late.’’

Since the person, herself didn’t find an excuse to stay overnight outside, she should be back by tonight.
