Zane P.O.V

"Grandma! Stop messing around! I have to talk to you!"

"Okay fine!" she gets off the tire swing she was just on, " I just want to live life more gosh."

"My mate is gone!"

"Say what now?"

"She was kidnapped!"

"Zane this is not good."

"What?"

"Hun have you mated yet?"

"No."

"Well that's good but still, you can't stay away from your mate for too long."

"I know that!"

" Especially if you know she's in danger."

"I don't think she is though."

"When I was young and kidnapped your grandfather went crazy. Killed everyone who got in the way while he was coming to rescue me."

"Ok Grandma thanks."

Celeste P.O.V

"This is good," I say as I spit out another piece of the chicken's bone. It was about midnight and Alex and I were camping in the woods.

"I thought you might be hungry."

"Yeah. Starving. I didn't have much soup the day you rescued me."

"Alex?" I say.

"Huh?"

"What did you say to Jake that day?"

"Oh I told him you spilled the bug spray on the bed in attempt to escape."

"So that's why."

"Why what?"

"He threw me on the ground."

"What!"

"Are you hurt!" He says.

"No I'm fine."

"I'm sorry I didn't think he would hurt you."

"Its fine. You got me out of there didn't you?"

"Yeah."

"Alex? Um what about that boss that wanted you to get me?"

"I quit."

"Huh? Why?"

"I uh... Didn't want him hurting you..." A blush rose to his cheek.

"Awww are you blushing," I tease, "Well that's sweet."

I lean in to kiss him on the cheek, "I'm going to bed."

I brush the dirt off my pants and head to the tent.

Zane P.O.V

Ringggg. The phone goes off waking me up. Oh well I guess I fell asleep in the office.

"Hello?"

"This means war Zane."

"Huh? What?"

"I know you have her."

"Who?"

"Celeste you bucket head!" he screams.

"Bucket head? Got that from Celeste didn't you?" I smirk.

"Yea... Anyways shes gone and...."

"Shes gone! What!"

I slam the phone shut and immediately rush outside.
