Chapter 16

Celeste P.O.V

"You look fine, trust me." Zane assures me.

"My hands are sweaty."

Zane chuckles,"I'm not holding your hand anymore."

"Zane!"

"You'll be great, they'll love you."

"Ok."

Zane takes my hand.

"I thought you weren't going to hold my hand?"

"If I didn't now what kind of mate would I be then?" he teases.

"Shut up Zane."

"Alright lets go."

Zane leads me outside to his backyard. I hear his dad speaking, introducing me to the pack.

"Oh here she is."

I walk on their patio with a smile plastered on my face.

"God, I look horrible," I whisper to Zane through my smile.

"Like I said you look fine."

I was wearing a white dress that went up to my knees; it had a light blue ribbon going down to my waist from my shoulder and it led to the same color ribbon on my waist with a violet colored center.

    Zane's dad had just finished introducing me and it wasn't that bad.... well not as bad. The one thing I noticed was Sydney and her crew eyeing me evilly. Well that's one thing I will have to deal with back at school tomorrow. Zane and I missed like a week of school during the whole Jake fiasco. 

"Hello Violet," Sydney sneers. 

With confidence I reply," Hi Sydney, having a nice day?"

"W-what?"

"Having a nice day?"

"Oh yea, I am?"

"Good to hear, bye!" I walk away.

Sydney P.O.V

What? Celeste leaves me shocked. I walk back into the alphas house. My Justin Bieber ring tone goes off making all the boys get disgusted looks.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Sydney, hows my favorite little spy."

"What do you want Jake?" I snap.

"Feisty aren't we?"

"Cut the **** and get to the point."

"Write little Celeste a note explaining for her to join our pack a.k.a the Midnight Rose and marry our alpha or her little brother is dead."

"What? Why would you want Celeste to be Luna of the pa-."

"Thats the alpha and the beta's which is me to know and you to..not know I guess..."

"Fine I'll sneak it in her locker at school."

"That's a good girl, bye."

I hang up.
