I was sad to say that I knew we hadn't seen the last of Josh. Somehow, I knew he would come back.

*Three months later*
"Castle?" I called out into the loft. We were about to leave for our doctor's appointment. Today we were going to find out the gender.
"Right here!" He yelled back. He was already at the door. I waddled over to him (for five months, I was pretty big).
"Here, let me help you." He rushed over to me and wrapped his arms around. I gasped as he swung me up into his arms.
"Castle..." I giggled. "Be gentle! Precious cargo?" I laughed, pointed to my large belly.
"Don't worry, I'll always catch you." He said, smiling at me. He grabbed my bag, and carried me all the way to my car. He set me down in the passenger seat, and climbed into the drivers seat himself.
"What do you think it will be?" He smiled at me, as he started driving.
"I don't know, but I'm feeling a girl. Does it matter?"
"No, it doesn't we will love him or her all the same, no matter what gender." He engulfed my hand in his, and held it tight the whole drive there.
When we arrived, Castle helped me out, but didn't carry me in this time.
"How may I help you sir?" The lady at the desk asked. Her name tag read 'Cassandra'.
"Uhm, my wife has a 5:30 with Dr. Jacobs?"
"Name please?"
"Castle."
"Oh, yeah. Right here. Do you have your paperwork?" Castle handed Cassandra the paperwork, and we went over and sat down. We were only in the waiting room for a few minutes before I was called.
"Katherine?"
"That's me!" Castle helped me up, and we walked in.
"Hmm... 5 months!" Doctor Jacobs (she had us start calling her Angela) exclaimed as we were settled in her office.
"Yep. But, I seem a little big for this stage, right?"
"Yes, a little bit. But that's okay, everybody grows differently."
I laid down on the table, and pulled up my shirt to get prepared for the ultrasound. Angela rubbed the cold substance on my stomach, and started the ultrasound. She was already aware of my... run-in with Josh, so she knew to not question my many scars.
"So, is it a boy or girl?" Castle asked, impatiently.
"Well, let's see." She moved the wand around a little bit. "Looks like you guys are going to be the proud parents of a... baby girl!"
Castle and I smiled. "You called it!" He said.
"Yeah." I said, with a big smile. I started to sit up.
"Wait just a second." The doctor said, motioning for me to lay down again.
Castle and I looked at her with puzzled looks, and she quickly explained to us why.
"It appears..."
"What?" Castle was getting anxious. We were starting to wonder if something was wrong.
"You are also soon to be the proud parents of a baby boy!"
