"Well, we have to remember, that even though we're kidnapped, you are still eating for two." After I finished eating the second sandwich, we curled up in a ball together, and fell back asleep.

When we woke up, we almost forgot that we were abducted. At least, if it wasn't for the menacing figure standing over us.
"Awe. How cute." He said, sarcastically. Castle and I sat up, but didn't leave each other's arms. I wasn't exactly petrified, but I certainly wasn't happy to be in the bloody hell hole we were dumped in, especially with the man who did it standing right in front of us. Besides, Castle provided warmth, which was greatly accepted since it was freezing down there.
"Who are you?" Castle asked, with a certain amount of boldness in his voice.
"Don't you recognize me?" The man asked as he flicked on a light switch.
"Josh!" I gasped as soon as my eyes had adjusted enough to see him again.
"Well, fancy meeting you here, Kate!" Again, a sickeningly sweet, sarcastic tone to his statement.
"What do you want? We broke up months ago!"
"Yeah, see that's the part I don't understand." He said, stepping closer to me. I could feel Castle's arms tighten around me.
"We were in love, Kate. We were perfect for each other!" He was yelling now. "And you just left me! For that!" He pointed at Castle. "And I bet I can tell you why."
"Please." I turned and looked at Castle when he said so. "Please explain why you think she did that. I would love to hear your opinion on the matter."
"Oh, it's not an opinion. It's a fact." He turned back to me. "You wanted some rich writer fellow. He can buy you anything you want."
"That's not true!" I yelled at him.
"Oh, and I bet ya, that such a famous guy, has had plenty if experience in other areas." He said. I could feel tears start to sting my eyes. He knew I loved Castle, he was just trying to spite me, and piss off Castle. "I'm sure that interested you. Doesn't it, Katherine?" And he knew I hated being called that.
Josh said a lot more abusing things, unspeakable. And, by now, the tears were running down my face. Castle was pissed off, but at him. He was trying to comfort me, but was hard for him to do with that icy cold glare in his eyes.
"Shut up." Rick had ice in his voice, too.
"Excuse me?"
"I said shut up." He said a little quieter.
"I don't think I should be the one shutting up, am I?" He stepped closer, making me shrink back. He suddenly grabbed my wrist, and started pulling me.
"Let me show you the consequences when you try to tell me off like that, Richard." He said with the sweetest smile possible. And, with that, he pulled me into another room, locking the door behind us.
