I suddenly noticed his expression of hot rage on his face, why I didn't notice it before, I don't know. But I didn't have time to react before he swooped down and, with incredible force, punched me right in the middle of my large, rounded stomach, in the middle of my babies.

"Oh my God!" I lurched forward, and had just enough time to run to the bathroom before I puked up my meal. I could hear the room around me going into chaos, but I could barely see due to my blurry vision. I don't know if it was a mixture of tears or what...
When I got into the bathroom, and was done vomiting, that was when I noticed the puddle of blood around my feet, and the trail of it behind me.
I could hear Castle come running in behind me, and turned around to greet him. I leaped into his arms, as he, rushing, carried me to his car.
"Hey, we just called an ambulance. It will be here in a few minutes." Ryan came up to us. When he saw all the blood, he had to look away. Not only was it gross, but it was me. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I'm like his sister to him.
"That's too long." Castle gently, but quickly, laid me down in the backseat of the car, and ran to the drivers seat. I'm pretty sure I blacked out a few times, because it seems we were only in there for a few seconds. Although, that could've been how he was driving.
Castle picked me up from in the car, and rushed me into the hospital. I could see that he had parked in the ambulance zone. He ran in, screaming;
"Hey! She was just hit! She's pregnant! Help!" He didn't make much sense, but it got the doctors' attention. Soon I was swept away by a gurney, with Castle running close behind.
After they got the bleeding under control, I was taken in for x-rays. I was in there for awhile. I'm not exactly sure what else they did. I was getting exhausted. I just wanted to wake up, and be at home, laying next to Castle, and have it all be a bad dream. But no matter how much I wished, I wouldn't wake up. And, it may be silly, but I pinched myself, and it wasn't a dream.
A little while later, we were in a hospital room. I had been sleeping for awhile, and just woke up.
"Hey." I saw Castle sitting next to me. I almost burst into tears when I saw that he had been crying.
"Mmm." He grunted. It wasn't an angry grunt, but it seemed to be all he could get out.
"It's going to be okay."
"Have you seen your belly yet?"
"No..." He lifted up my gown a little so I could see.
"Oh my god." I said, taking in the blue and black bruises. A tear fell. Or two, or more.
"Now tell me it's going to be okay."
"We have to stay optimistic." I said as the doctor walked in.
"Hi, doctor." We said.
"What's the verdict?" I asked. I looked at Castle.
"Well... good news and bad news."
