Words leave your mouth so smooth
Butterflies flutter inside of me
Your blue eyes sparkle
And your promises etch my skin
Your lips hum symphonies to me
Your smile makes me weak
And your laugh makes me melt
But in rolls the darkness
Enormous grey clouds erupt in the sky
Your words turn into daggers
Harshly stabbing me
Those blue eyes of yours
They're a tsunami wave that drowns me
Your lies are regretful tattoos
All over my skin in ink
That I can't remove
You hum war instead
Making me flee to find comfort
And that smile is a curse
Your laugh is now a cackle
I fall to my knees
I have given up
I am begging for mercy
I am begging for you
I want the old you back
I don't want a tsunami
I hate storms
And I hate these lies
That used to be promises
Chaos
You're chaos to me
You make me hypnotised
By your calmness
Then you bring the storm
It's tears me up
And all you do is cackle
I can't do anything about it
But you
But you won't
Then the sky clears up
And my eyes are blinded by sunlight
You're not here anymore
Your curse is gone
But you've left damage behind
I have bruises on my skin
Harsh words screaming in my head
Wounds that are crying blood
And what hurts the most?
A broken heart
