These people were strange to me. They claimed we'd had a bond, that I already knew them.. They were crying and I had no clue as to why. I've never seen them in my life...

The man who'd embraced me. The woman whom he held. I felt as if every word I spoke broke them. Shattered their hearts, this broke me, I was afraid to speak. This hurt them..anything I did brought them tears.

"She's probably in shock. Just let her come back to her senses." A blonde woman spoke. She didn't seem too sure in her own deduction.

"Where are we?" Only a few valid questions couldn't hurt to help me get my bearings.

"Storybrooke. You've lived here before..Though its not all forest. There's a much bigger city in the center."

"Your clothing? What kind of clothes are those?" I thought everyone wore something to the degree if what I was wearing now. Though not as tattered, strange..I thought my dress had been in tact..

"If you come with us we can try to explain." She walked to the man and woman and they walked on ahead of us. Each with tears soaking their face. A woman with red and dark brown hair followed suit.

"Who are they? Why do they cry at everything I ask?" A man who had a strange concealed weapon of sorts now spoke up.

"They've been through a lot. You were-are important to them, and its hard for them that you can't recall who they are."

"How was I important to them?"

"You're their daughter.." It couldn't be. My parents had been dead ever since I was born. I was raised by many. None were these people.

"But they're dead.."

Pan's PoV

Yes..break them..all of your memories are false..break them down..let them know how you suffered..all for them...which you don't even remember..and now they must for you...

I had my game-changer where I wanted him. He would get his prize soon enough. The other would serve his purpose as well.

Until then I could watch them fall apart. Every memory replaced with ones of a false reality.

This thing they called a car, I entered and it was driving without any horses. How strange this world was.

"You said that those two people loved me?"

"And you did too. You were taken and they never stopped looking for you. Never gave up. Whoever took you wouldn't let you go, and they had no way of finding you, but they didn't stop trying."

Something felt so familiar with his words. Yet so impossible.

Pan's PoV

A month later..

That should send a well enough message. This was growing to be somewhat mundane for my tastes. It was time to spice it up.

"Go. Let her remember. But make sure that you are rewarded and don't come back unless summoned." Which would be never, I had too many disposable allies to need this one back.

There. My game changer was on his way and my torment would be finalized. For now..

I waved over to my free charge, he quickly ran to me.

"If you can win her over, over him. She's yours. If you can't..they'll decide what to do with you. Now go, try and win your prize once and for all."

Belle's PoV

As I attempted to bring something out of Rose- I mean Marie, she seemed to be an empty shell. She doubted all of what we'd told her, she wanted nothing to do with anyone, even her own brother whom she'd adored.

Rumple couldn't take looking at her lost eyes. Work was his only escape from the memories of home. Chip was almost a year old now, and his big sister may not be awake to know it.

She despised books and wanted nothing to do with the library, everything she'd once loved she now was uninterested and against. This isn't our daughter at all..it was her body, not herself...

Even Chip knew something wasn't right, he would cry until she gave up and held him. He would be content with us unless big sis walked in, then he would want her attention. Seemed as if he knew how much she had once cared for him.

She never wanted to talk with us, Henry had even asked to sword fight, he was harshly denied. She loved Henry like another brother. Whatever Pan had done to her I desperately wanted undone.
