An Alpha is my Mate

Chapter 6

Ella POV:

I tried to turn over in my sleep, but something was stopping me from doing so. I open my eyes to see that I was almost laying on top of Amelia, I tried pulling myself away from her but her grip on me tighten.

The warmth she was giving to my body felt amazing, but I still wanted to move before she woke up.

After 5 minutes of trying to get up, I had finally given up and just laid there waiting for her to wake up. I took this time to look around her room. It's a big room which I'm not surprised about, all Alphas get the biggest room in the packhouse.

I love the color of the room, it's midnight blue and it reminds me of the night when the moon is at its highest. I notice the big T.V. in the corner with a game system and a lot of different movies that I'm sure I never heard of.

My stomach started to growl, and she begin to stir from her sleep. I tried to hide my face when she opened her eyes and stared at me.

"Good morning beautiful."

I blushed even harder at the sound of her voice and the fact she called me beautiful. I give her a smile in return and stared back at her. I study every inch of her face before going back to staring at her beautiful forest-like green eyes.

My eyes begin to move from her eyes down to her lips. Before I knew it, I was moving in closer to her lips with my eyes not leaving them one bit.

I was inches from her lips. I could feel her warm breath fan across my own. My eyes begin to close on their own, and my lips brushed against hers.

The sparks that went through my body made me want to feel them over again. I pressed my lips more into hers and she begin kissing me back right away.

Her tongue ran across my bottom lip asking for entrance, I parted my lips and her tongue slid into my mouth. We fought for domination and she won. She rolled her tongue around mine and a small moan-like noise left my lips.

Before I knew it, she was on top of me and her eyes were glowing brighter. I knew her wolf had taken over. She moved down to my neck licking and sucking until she found a spot that made me let out another soft moan.

I felt her sharp teeth run over that same spot. I knew she wanted to mark me, and I knew Amelia couldn't stop her wolf from claiming what is hers.

She lifted her head and stared into my eyes and I see the one question she is trying to ask me. I nodded my head and closed my eyes as I felt her lips on my neck again. She started sucking on that spot again before I felt her teeth go into my neck.

My eyes popped open and whimpers left my lips as I tried to move away. Her grip on me tighten as she pushed her teeth farther into my neck. She pulled them out and licked up the blood that was rolling down.

She pulled me into her arms and hugged me tight while whispering sweet words in my ear. I held onto her tight with my face buried into her chest.

I never knew that the marking would cause so much pain, but then again, I never knew I'll find my mate either. When the pain finally stopped I pulled away and looked up at her and seen that her eyes are back to their normal color.

There were two expressions on her face, one of sadness that caused me pain, and the other of happiness that she marked me.

I smiled at her and kissed her lips before hugging her again. In the middle of hugging her, my stomach growled again causing both of us to chuckle.

"Come on my love, let's get you some food."

I nodded my head and followed her out of the room and down to the kitchen. When we walked in everyone stood and bowed at us before saying good morning.

I waved at them and followed Amelia to her seat. I sat in her lap and the chef brought out our food. The food smelt amazing and my mouth watered. I begin eating but stopped when I felt everyone staring at me.

This caused Amelia to growl and everyone started eating their breakfast.

It was the middle of the day and I was bored because I didn't have anything to do and Amelia was doing work. I walked around the house trying to find the game room area. I bumped into someone and almost fell until they caught me.

"Luna are you okay?"

I looked up to see it was a girl that couldn't be that much older than me. I nodded my head and stood up on my own putting some space between us.

"You seem to be lost, are you looking for something?"

I nodded my head again and wrote on my notepad.

"Game room."

"Come, I'll show you where it's at."

I followed her and looked at everything we passed by. I stopped when we came to a room that had babies in it.

"This is the nursery."

I walked into the room and looked around watching the women in there take care of the babies. One of them noticed me and bowed before walking closer to me.

"Good afternoon Luna."

I gave a smile and looked around the room. One kid caught my eye and I walked over to her looking down at her with a smile on my face.

She was beautiful with the cutest red hair. I ran one of my fingers across her cheek and she started to giggle while gripping my finger. I didn't notice the girl who spoke to me was standing on the side of me.

"This is Abigail."

Removing my finger from her I started writing on my notepad.

"That's a beautiful name. What's her story? Why is she here?"

"Well, a lot of the babies here are only here because their parents are working, but Abigail is an orphan. One of our warriors found her inside a picnic basket with a note and brought her here. Alpha tried everything to find her parents, but nothing came up and she just been here since."

I nodded my head and looked back at Abigail. Even though I loved her red hair, but her silver eyes pulled me in even more. It was like looking straight into the moon's eyes.

Sitting the notepad and pen down I reached down and picked her up cradling her in my arms. I walked around the room and hummed a soft song my mother used to hum to me. That was the only thing that seem to not cause any pain to me.

Forgetting that I was in search of the game room I stayed in the nursery with Abigail. It broke my heart to know that a parent gave up a beautiful child. She started to slowly fall asleep with my finger in her hand.

When she was fully asleep I laid her back down and stared at her while she slept. I don't know the pull I have toward this little girl, but I know I like the feeling of her being close to me. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see Isla standing there.

"Amelia is looking for you."

I nodded my head and turned back around toward Abigail kissing her forehead softly. I followed Isla out of the nursery and toward Amelia's office. I heard growling and stopped in front of the door looking at Isla.

"She's just worried because she couldn't find you."

Taking in a deep breath I walked into the office and closed the door behind me. I stopped when I saw her eyes jumping from hers to her wolf. I wonder why she is so upset.

I walked over toward the desk stepping behind it and wrapping my arms around her. Not long after she started to calm down. Her arms wrapped around my waist tight and she breathe in my scent.

I kissed the side of her head and looked into her eyes before placing my forehead against hers.

"I'm sorry, I tried controlling Ally, but she was fighting her way to take control. When I went to smell for your scent and couldn't smell you anywhere I thought something had happened to you, but I knew you were still in the house I could feel you, something was just blocking your scent."

I smiled at her and kissed her lips in a way of telling her that it's okay. It warms my heart knowing someone can't go that long without being next to me, it's even better than that someone is my very own mate, who I thought I'll never meet.
