An Alpha is my Mate

Chapter 1

Running in the woods being chased by the guards of the Moon Red pack, my pack was haunting me down like I was some rogue. I had to run as fast as I can to get out of this territory before they catch me.

The Alpha of the Mood Red pack, my father forced me to run for my life. He told the pack whoever haunted me first and brought me back alive or dead that he will pass the Alpha title down to them.

He hated that I was a girl and not only was I a girl, but I took after my mother's side. She is an omega and his mate.

Looking over my shoulders seeing that some of the wolves are getting closer to me I pushed myself to run faster seeing the end of this territory up ahead.

As soon as a wolf was about to tackle me to the ground I jumped and rolled into the other territory forcing them to stop at the end of their territory.

Some shifted back into their human and others just growled at me, mad that I got away from them.

I looked around the territory that I was in not knowing who territory it was. I started walking more into the area trying to see which way to go and where I can sleep for the night.

I'm not sure how long I walked but I finally came to a stop in a beautiful meadow with a nice river that the moon shine down on.

Walking over to the river I leaned down and used my hand to bring water to my mouth. I didn't know how thirsty I was until I started drinking the water. I splashed some on my face and looked around the area for a nice spot to sleep.

Spotting a tree that was closer to the river I walked over to it and laid down under the tree looking out to the river, I guess this is the best time to tell you who I am.

My name is Ella Wilson, I just turned 18 a few days ago. I'm from the Moon Red pack, in that pack everyone knows me as the Alpha omega kid. Normally when an Alpha is mated to an omega their kid still comes out with the Alpha genes but not me. I came out with the omega gene like my mother. My father hated that I took after her and showed it every day through the beatings he would give me.

He's the reason why my mother is dead. She killed herself when she felt the pain of my father sleeping with someone else. I was only 10 when she took her own life and left me here with a man who didn't give a damn about me.

I felt the wind picking up and the air getting a little colder, I curled myself into a ball under the tree and stared out into the river until my eyes got heavy and sleep took over me.

My eyes snapped open when I heard growling, there were wolves all around me making a circle to keep me from running.

I tried pushing myself more into the tree and away from these wolves but there was no point they had me trapped.

One of the wolves started shifting back into its human form once it was done and over with a woman was standing in its place.

"Why are you on our land?"

I didn't say anything back, it's not like I didn't want to speak but more like I couldn't speak. My father had surgery done on me when I was 13. He had the pack doctor put in a metal piece that will cover my vocals and keep me from talking or in his case from screaming.

"Why are you here?" She asked this time with more of a growl in her voice.

I open my mouth to say something, but nothing came out and I fell to my knees from the pain that went through my body from trying to talk.

From the sounds of it, I believe they thought I was trying to shift because they started growling and getting into an attack stance.

I pulled my knees to my chest and whimpered from the pain that my vocals caused me. Soon the growling stop and the girl that shifted into her human stepped closer to me and bending down.

I flinched when her hand touch me and whimpered more while trying to get away from her.

"Shh.... It's going to be okay." Her voice was softer this time when she spoke.

She brought her nose closer to me and took a big sniff before pulling away. "You don't smell like a rogue but also don't smell like you belong to a pack either. I'm going to pick you up."

I didn't move, and I didn't try to fight her because I knew that she will win if I tried to fight my way out of this. I just allowed her to do as she wished.

Everything got quiet I took it she was talking with her Alpha, after a while she started walking and the wolves that were with her were walking behind her I guess to make sure I didn't attack.

I didn't know what their pack name was or where she was taking me all I knew was that I was sleepy and just wanted to sleep, so I let my eyes close and I fell into a deep sleep while she was carrying me to god knows where.

Not long after I was being woken up by the girl whose name I still didn't know.

"I'm sorry but I have to put you in a cell where we keep all wolves that is not a part of this pack."

I whimpered but didn't say anything and just laid on the bed that she put me in. I didn't see my life going this way once I finally had gotten away from that man and his devil of a pack.

I don't know how many hours I have been in this cell, but I do know that it's driving me crazy because I don't like being in small spaces.

The girl who put me in this cell came back a few times and brought me food, I'm sure she wasn't supposed too but I was still thankful since I haven't had food in over 2 weeks.

There were guards outside of my cell keeping watch like I was going to break out or something. I might not be as smart as any other wolf but I'm smart enough to know not to touch a silver bar.

Finally, after waiting for so long I heard the door that lead to the cells open. I'm guessing their Alpha was finally going to show himself and see what to do with me since I didn't belong here.

All the guards stood at attention as they Alpha made their way to my cell, but little did I know that he was a she.
