An Alpha is my Mate

Chapter 19

Amelia POV:

When I found Ella in the dungeon, I was shocked, I didn't know my little mate had that kind of anger in her. Isla thought it was funny, of course, I did as well but I was more shocked than anything else.

That night I don't know what came over me after seeing her like that. I just wanted to take her any and all kinds of ways.

Tonight is the night we finally tell the pack about Ella being pregnant. She's a bit nervous because the last time we had to stand on the stage Ella couldn't speak and that was when I told the pack I found my mate.

I stood on the stage with Ella by my side and everyone staring at us, giving us their full attention.

"Thank you all for coming out tonight. Your Luna and I have an important announcement to make."

I looked at Ella and she was just looking out to everyone, giving them all her shy smile. I learn not to fall for that shy smile anymore. She finally looked up at me and I nodded my head to her.

"Your Alpha and I are having a baby."

Everyone cheered and Sarah ran on the stage hugging us both. I was surprised that she hugged me because she was angry with me for making Ella leave. I wouldn't care if a pack member was angry with me, but she is close to Ella and anyone Ella cares about so do I.

In the middle of talking with Sarah and Isla, I heard someone clear their throat getting everyone's attention. I looked to see who it was, and it was a man standing in the middle of the crowd.

"What can I do for you, sir?"

"You are not fit to be an Alpha! A man is supposed to be an alpha, not a woman. I challenge you for the alpha position and your Luna!"

My anger grew and I can feel Ally trying to force her way out. She was angry that someone else wanted our mate. I let out a loud growl and everyone bowed their heads but Ella. He stood there shaking but tried to play it off.

I pulled Ella to my side and my growls grew louder, she's MINE! Ella looked up at me and I just pushed her toward Isla and Sarah.

"You know the consequences of challenging your Alpha. We fight to the death and trust me, boy, I won't be the one dying tonight."

I jumped off the stage and everyone moved out of my way. I stood in the spot I landed in and watched him shake like the little pup he is. Isla came down and stood in the middle of us.

"We all know the rules when the alpha is challenged. No one can jump in or that is death to you without hearing your plead. The fight isn't over until someone is dead."

She walked from the middle of us and I took on my stance, watching him as he tries to remember his training. The one mistake he made was coming at me first, you always let your enemy make the first move.

I step to the side letting him run past me, I turned around quickly using my left leg to send a kick to his chest. He hit the tree with his back causing a cracking sound to be heard.

He came running toward me and I step aside again, this time letting him run into the tree on his own. I shook my head because he still isn't learning his mistakes. He is fighting with anger.

I noticed he started to shift, and I did the same thing. I stood tall over him and let out a growl. He came towards me scratching at the lower part of my face. I used my front paws to pin him down.

With one move my teeth were in his throat. I can taste his blood, I bit down harder ripping his throat out.

The only part of my body that took any hits was my face, but I knew it was going to be healed by tomorrow. Ally forced my body to shift back and I felt arms wrapping around me.
