Amelia POV:
Waking up in a bed that doesn't have Ella in it is very hard. I can't wait to be back home with her. Feel her body up against mine. I forced myself to get up and take a quick shower before I had to go down and finish getting everyone together. Hopefully, today will be the last day we are here.
Once my shower was over, I made my way down to the kitchen where I told Isla to have everyone at when I got up. Lucky they only had 40 people in the pack, well, now they do since I have killed a good amount of them.
My plan is to make everyone who is here a part of my pack, but I don't know what I'm going to do with this side of the woods.
When I got into the kitchen, I saw that everyone was eating and chatting. It's good to see that they are happy but it's still some fear in a few of their eyes and that can be understandable.
"Good morning everyone."
Getting a good morning back from everyone, I walked over and made myself a plate of breakfast that was sitting on the stove. I'm sure Isla was the one who cooked, even though she is a beta she still loves to cook.
I took the seat at the head of the table and begin to eat my breakfast and watch everyone as they talk with each other.
After breakfast was over, I had everyone go outside because I knew everyone wouldn't fit inside the living room.
"Listen up everyone!"
When I was sure I had everyone's attention I started back my speech.
"I know things have been a little crazy around here and you all are enjoying the Alpha being dead, but I need to get back to my pack. I want everyone to go and pack everything they need and can carry. Parents make a small backpack for your children that they can carry their selves. I want everyone back outside in the front in 3 hours."
With a yes from everyone, I walked back into the house with Isla following right behind me.
"What are we going to do about the baby?"
That's the thing...I didn't know what I was going to do about the baby, of course, I wasn't going to leave her behind.
"I don't know Isla, just pack up whatever you can that belongs to her."
----
Within them 3 hours I made sure everything was locked up and walked around helping everyone as much as I can. Being glad I dealt with the other warriors yesterday, all I had to do was worry about getting everyone back to my packhouse.
I looked around and counted everyone's head and noticed that one person is missing. I looked around for the person I was looking for and pointed at her.
"Where is your sister?"
"She left something inside, she's on her way back."
I nodded my head and watched her come back out. Doing my counting again and I got the right number this time.
"Adults keep an eye on the kids. Since we are not going back in our wolves this will take up to a 3-hour walk. Within the first 2 hours, we will stop and let the kids rest. My warriors should have passed everyone a bag that holds food and water in them. If everyone has everything let's get to walking."
I started the walk off with Isla and one of my warriors on the side of me. The rest in the back to watch our backs and look out for rogues. This is the only bad thing about walking in human form in the woods. Rogues try their best to sneak up on you when they think you are not looking.
One of the little kids ran away from her mom and up to the front where we were at. Without a word, I lift her and sat her on my shoulder. Her small giggles can be heard in the woods and it was the best sound I have heard since I took down that damn Alpha.
