Chapter 3

17 years old. Jasmine.

My life is horrible. I hate it. I just graduated from highschool and so did Aisha and Kat. Ever since Anthony died... my life got worse. I get beat every single day. All I hear is my mom screaming in pain. I wish I could help her. But I can't. I try all the time... but I get hurt all the time.
Katelynn

My mom and dad divorced... my mom is horrible without him. I feel bad for her. We're still trying everyday to put food on the table for me and my siblings... it's not easy and I have a feeling its not gonna get better. Ever since Jasmine lost Anthony everything went down hill. We're all trying our best to stay fed and have a roof on our heads. Its just so bad. 

Aisha

My mom and dad beat me we hate each other... I wanna run away... I wanna leave... I just wanna get out... I want to leave forever and never look back. Ever since Anthony died... we all lost Jasmine... she's not the same anymore. She barely talks to us... we just want her back. That's all we want.

I walked out of my house and she was taking her little baby sister for a walk. She was crying. I walked up to her. "Jas..." I said walking up to her. "What?" She sniffled "how's it going?" I asked she shrugged "does it look like its going good!? Because its not... its getting worse... wanna hear something!?" She asked I nodded she walked over to her door and opened it... "listen" she said. I heard her mom screaming... I pushed thru the door and ran in. I grabbed Sam off her mom and pushed him to the wall. "What the fuck is your problem!" I snapped then kicked him in the balls. "Shit!" He gasped and fell to the ground. I called the cops. They came and took him away. Jasmine put her baby sister down who is 2 days old... and hugged me... tight. "I love you" she cried. I hugged her back. Kat came in and picked up the baby. "What's up?" She asked "she... he's gone" she laughed. Her mom got up. "OUT! ALL OF YOU!! OUT!!" she yelled. Me and kat left the house.
Jasmine.

My mom threw all my stuff... and my baby sisters stuff out the door.  "OUT! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN! NOR YOUR FUCKIN STUPID BABY SISTER!! WE NEVER WANTED HER!! SHE WAS A MISTAKE!! JUST LIKE YOU!!" She yelled I looked down "FUCK YOU! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IT IS TO LOSE SOMEONE YOU LOVE NO WONDER WHY MY DAD LEFT YOU! ITS BECAUSE ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS YOUR FUCKIN SELF!! I FUCKIN HATE YOU! AND I WILL LEAVE WITH MY HALF BABY SISTER AND RAISE HER BETTER THEN YOU EVER RAISED ME!!!!" I screamed grabbed my car keys and credit card and all the bags with my baby sister and left out of the house.

I heard screaming next door. Jasmine and her mom were arguing... my mom was yelling at me... I couldn't take it anymore... so I just grabbed my bags... and walked out of the house. My mom got a new boyfriend who is needy... and lazy... I can't stand him. Jasmine was getting her bags in the trunk crying. "Mind if I join?" I whimpered. She shook her head and kept the trunk open for me.

Aisha

I saw kat and jas leaving. I grabbed my things... and followed them. I put my bags in the trunk. Then jas put the baby's stroller in... we all got in... and left.

Jas stopped at the bank. "Remember when my gram passed?" She asked we nodded. "In her will... was $200,000... and she passed it down to me not my mother..." she said then got out. She came back in and drove off. The car we have her dad gave to her. Its a Mazda... very nice to. Her mom stole it from her. "Where are we going exactly!?" Kat asked. Jas stopped at baby's r us. "To get Maya here some things... then us some food and then a place to sleep... because... when I was in the bank I called my dad... we're going to New York..." she said getting out. We got out and she picked up Maya ad we went into the store.

"This... will come in handy" she said picking up a pouch. "Hell yeah!" I laughed she smiled for the first time in forever. "I think the thing that stressed me most was my mom and that house... every time I lay in that bed... I go back to that night when me and Anthony had sex... was the best night of my life. It just hurts that he's not here." she said looking down at the baby. "Yeah... I remember that night to... i seen him eat you out..." I said she laughed. "We made a sex tape..." she said looking down. Her cheeks turned bright red. "What!!" Me and Kat gasped. "Yeah... I still have it... we made it... before he died..." she said I nodded Kat squealed. "Oh my god!! Look at this!!" Kat giggled. We walked over to her. A cute pink outfit! It was so cute.

Jasmine.

The baby started crying when we got into the car. "Shit! Kat or Aisha! Drive to a motel! I need to feed Maya!" I said as we got in. It started to rain. It was freezing! "Turn on the heat" I said making Maya a bottle they did and I got the baby out. I started to feed her, after I burped her and she threw up... all over me... how great!

We got to the motel. "Don't open the door yet" I said getting Maya in her blankets then put her in the car seat... and then Kat turned off the heater... and we all got out. I got us a room... and then we went in. It was warm in it. I put the baby on the nice big bed and took off her clothes. "Shit! Kat! Aisha! Can one of you go out into the car and get me Maya's bag... also mine" I asked Kat and Aisha went together. Maya was wide awake. She's only 2 days old... my half baby sister. I don't care... I'm going to take care of her like if she was my own.

I kissed her small cheek. "Sissy gonna take care of you baby... I promise you I won't let mommy go near you... or me." I whispered. Her little hands were moving around. I started to cry. I'm going to make sure that her life is better then mine. She's my sister... and I'm going to give her what I didn't have... what I never had.
