I looked at the new trailer I was about to be spending the remainder of my teenage years in and turned to my mom "Can Blayze and I go ride around?" "Come on, just for a bit" "What you're gonna do is move out of our way so we can get out, then we're going to unpack, eat lunch, then go see old friends, then I don't give a damn what you do" dad said, making me roll my eyes at my brother. I pulled my bike up to the side of the trailer, my brother doing the same as we killed and got off the bikes.
The movers were already unpacking stuff and dad ran to open the door for them. I crossed my arms over my chest as I looked up at it. I felt a shove, and as I fell a bit forward, I spun around to see my brother starting to run from me. "You idiot!" I shouted with a laugh as I ran after him. Mom shouted at us to stay by the truck and not go too far, but that didn't stop us from running closer to the people.
I watched as my brother started to skid before falling and rolling as he slammed into the back of an old lazy boy chair, the closer I got the more he panicked while getting up "Shit, shit! Wait, I'm bleeding!" he shouted while sticking his arm out in front of him. I quickly stopped and noticed he was, just elbow scratched up "awe let me see it" I said as I grabbed it, acting like I was examining it before I slapped it, he sucked in air between his teeth and tore it from me "Cry baby bitch" I said as I took off this time, being the chased instead.
"Blayze! Adelina! Get your asses over here and help! Horse play later!" I turned around running from my brother still "Truths! Dad needs our help!" "For now," he glared, and I smiled before turning back around and finishing the run to the truck, gripping the side as I jumped up and swung my legs over, standing on the edge as I bent down and started to grab trash bags of clothes, tossing them to my brother who tossed them to the porch.
It took us only about an hour and a half before we unpacked the two trucks. Our house full of crap. There were three rooms in the trailer, a full-sized kitchen and living room, along with two full sized bathrooms like our old one. (I'm just going off how the trailer I used to live in was by memory). It was giant, which was whatever, but it stuck out in the trailer park, even if it was one of the two standing.
My parents got the one farthest away from us, with their own bathroom while I got the one straight across from the bathroom, and my brother was at the end of the hallway. The boxes that had A's marked on them flooded the room, along with my mattress and wooden pallets. The pallets I used as a frame as my mattress was on top. Mom told us to unpack a bit and then we'd go get some food, so I did.
I had finished rather quickly and started to arrange my dresser as there was a knock on my door. I turned to see mom "Let's go say help to our new neighbors and old friends" she said with a smile. I nodded and sat my camera down before following her to the living room.
We started to make our way out of the door together and walking over to the many people around. The first stop was in front of the other trailer, as we grew closer, I realized people stared, which I ignored as I walked behind my dad, beside my brother. "Well, look who finally returns to Riverdale" I knew that voice. I moved up, lifting my dad's arm and dropping it around my shoulders as my eyes landed on my dad's old best friend, causing a smile to appear on my face. "FP, been a while" "It sure has, and look, you've gone silver" I laughed as I looked up at my dad who laughed as well.
"Caden, great to see you again" I watched as he stood up from a chair and my mom walked over and they hugged, kissing each other's cheeks before my dad hugged him as well. "And, holy hell. Well thirteen years really did something to you two didn't it" he said as he seen Blayze and me. I laughed and stepped closer "hi Uncle FP" I said with a grin, wrapping my arms around his middle as he wrapped around my shoulders.
