Waking up in the hospital wasn't one of the things I had planned for the weekend, but shit happens. My family was in the room when I did, mostly all passed out besides my dad who was on the phone. When noticing I was awake, he left the room to get the doctor.

"Miss Wolf, good to see you awake. How are you feeling?" "Like I was stabbed, and I'm hungry" "I can get the lunch to bring you some lunch" "I'll do it" I turned my head to see my brother standing up, rubbing his face "She's picky" he said with a tired grin before exiting the room. "Alright, well miss Wolf, you were stabbed three times as I'm sure you recall, once penetrated just under your ribs, the second in the back of your thigh, and the third just above your Achelous tendon. You did have a blood transfusion, and but the only worrying part was from your black out. I suggest taking it easy for a while, even after your wounds heal" "How long will it take to heal?" "The stitches should start to fall out in two to three weeks' time, try to not get them too wet, and be careful on your leg. You are able to walk, just don't overdo it" "Thank you, doctor" he gave a nod.

"I'll just get your mother and father and we'll go fill out some paper work" I gave him a nod as he walked over to where my father was sitting beside my now awake mother. As they left, I let out a sigh, reaching my hands up to rub my face. "Here's your food" I turned to see Blayze walk in, setting a tray in my lap. I sat up with a smile and started to eat the breakfast. "You should have let me help you" "I took care of it" I said with a mouthful of bacon. He shook his head, arms crossed over his chest as he stood beside my bed. "I don't care, you were stabbed Adelina" I just gave a shrug as I shoveled eggs into my mouth.

He gripped the end of my bed, looking at me "You're so fucking stupid" "Why" "Because! You can't just go around beating the fuck out of people!" "He grabbed me first! And they said he was taking me back to where ever the hell they were from! They were Ghoulies, Blayze" "I don't care, Adelina! You shouldn't have gone outside alone!" "I just wanted air!" "All you ever want is to fight! Anyone and everyone! I don't get it!" "Me!? You realize your part of the reason we left Pennsylvania, right!?" "Shut the fuck up!" "No! It's your fault! We aren't even able to talk to our friends anymore! You did it!" "You were a part of it!" "Like hell I was!" "Yeah, remember!? You were there, you right beside me the whole night!" "I didn't do a fucking thing! You're the one who caused it!" he glared at me, as I glared back.

Then, my own brother broke my heart much more than any boy ever could. "You should have died that night, not Evie. You!" I didn't scream back. My chest tightened and tears sprung to my eyes as my brother stared at me with so much hate and anger. "You really think so?" I asked, my voice just above a whisper, on the verge of cracking. "I do, I really fucking do" I opened my mouth to talk again, but there was a knock on the door frame, the door had been open.

I felt choked up as I couldn't look away from my brother, but he was looking at the door. "You guys need something" "Casper called and told me to bring Adelina a change of clothes" I heard Toni's soft voice. I tore my eyes away from my brother, looking to see herself, Cheryl, Sweetpea, and Fangs were there, watching us. I threw the blanket off me, putting my bandaged leg to the ground before he started to talk again "don't fucking do that, let me carry you" he walked over to me, wrapping an arm around my back and reaching to my legs.

I didn't miss a beat as I slapped him across the face, "Don't you fucking touch me" he moved back, grabbing his face. I ignored him as I started to stand up, before I felt someone grab my arm and lower back, I realized it was Sweetpea. I reached out and took the bag from Toni with a smile as Sweetpea walked with me to the bathroom before standing outside of the door.

I dropped the bag to the ground and sat on the toilet, covering my face with my hands as I let a few tears fall, a bubble in my throat as I held back a sob. After a minute I got up and threw the gown on the floor, examining my body in the mirror. I was covered in bruises, many around the stabs. A few scratches on my arms and shoulder. A soft knock on the door startled me "Adelina? Are you alright?" I heard Sweetpea's usually hardened voice, much softer. "No, can you actually get in here and help me" I replied as I grabbed the bag and sat it on the sink.
