Chapter Fifteen

FINALLY, it was late April, prom was next week, and today was my birthday. Day time I planned to spend it with Veronica, Archie, Reggie, Betty, and Jughead, but later tonight was with my family and the serpents, including Jughead and Archie. Still, nobody besides Jughead and my mother knew about me doing the dance tonight gladly. Tonight, also happened to be the night Archie meets my parents, so it'll be a little awkward after my dance, I think. We had become an official couple last week, and Sweetpea had become a lot colder towards me, which Fangs and Toni both quickly noticed.

I just ignored it, not even wanting to deal with him if he would act like a child, he's the one that wanted to be fwb.

Tonight, was going to be a good night, I thought as I made my way into the living room of Archie's house. His dad was gone, and the six of us were watching movies and eating Pops that Reggie picked up before swinging by. The two of us hadn't brought up me hitting him, and I didn't plan to. My head rested against Archie's shoulder as he wrapped his arms around me.

It was nearly dark, and the movie had started to roll credits. "I should probably head home" Jughead said with a yawn, causing me to yawn and nod. Betty and he had gone outside, and I looked at Veronica giving her a look, asking for us to be alone. "Reggie and I are gonna head out too, hopefully your birthday was okay, even if we didn't do much" I laughed as she hugged me "It was perfect" more so then you will know.

Reggie gave me a hug while Veronica pointed to the gift box, she had brought me, "open it before you go to bed!" "will do" I say as they make their way out of the house. "and then there were two" I said as I looked up to Archie, who gave me a grin. "Now come on, I need to go to my house before the bar" I tell him. He nods and grabs his football jacket before we make sure they're all gone before going to his truck and making our way to my house, nobody home.

I unlock the door and walk him to the living room "Hang out here, I'll be right out then we can leave" I tell him as he gives me an okay. I quickly jog to my bedroom and lock the door while stripping down. I put on my lingerie before I slipped on my clothes to wear over it, hiding everything so nobody could tell. I let my hair out of the two buns on my head, letting messy curls cascade down my back. I sat in the mirror, applying mascara and a bit of extra glossy lip gloss before I made my way out of the room finally.
