Chapter Six

The entire weekend I had worked in the bar, getting used to it. Toni talked to my mom, and she wanted to bartend but instead she'll be taking out drinks with me, unless mom wants her to do it. But she also has Hogeye to bartend with her. I didn't get around to hanging with the serpents this weekend, but I got to hang out with the older ones and Toni so that was fine with me. Toni and I were growing closer to one another, mostly since we worked together now.

FP was working with my dad in the garage now, and when Jughead finally shown up he thanked my dad a handful of times.

Now I was setting in my Algebra class beside Fangs, who I got into a group with to do the assignment that our teacher had passed out to us. He was much better at math than I was, so he let me just copy his work since I did in Biology the other morning.

As I finished writing the last problem, the bell rung loudly causing students to start getting up, Miss Hernandez telling them to put their work on her desk on the way out. Fangs and I stood up and made our way out. "Coming to lunch?" "Yeah, I need to go put my bag up in my locker really quick though" I assure him as he heads towards the side door, going to the picnic tables outside.

I push past people as I make my way to my locker, where I enter my combination and hang my bag on the hook. As I started to make my way outside to where the serpents where. When I got outside, I inhaled deeply for the fresh air as I started to pass the table that Jughead and his Northsider friends sat at, "Hey, Eli" I turned, offering a smile to Jug "Hey Jug" I replied generously while I kept walking.

When nearing the footballer's table, I let out a huff of annoyance at the wolf whistle and cat calls. As I passed by, I felt someone grip my thigh before slapping it. I yanked myself away as I looked down to see Chuck, I gave a harsh glare "Don't touch me, mutt" I said through gritted teeth. But he just gave me a smile and placed a hand on my hip "I do think we got off on the wrong foot, Adelina" "hey motherfucker, she said don't touch her" I heard my brother roar behind me, before I felt him grab my shirt and pull me away from him.

"Look man, she's my girlfriend, you can put your knights helmet away" "If she had a boyfriend, I think she'd tell me" "Oh yeah? And whys that?" "Because she's my fucking sister, now if you touch her again, I want you to know, I'm not afraid to go to prison for the ones I fucking love. So, don't fucking touch her anymore, don't talk to her, don't be near her, or I'll fucking know it. Come on, Adelina" Blayze said, I could hear the venom in his voice as he spoke. He wrapped his arms around my shoulder and pulled me to start walking, but it didn't stop Chuck Clayton from slapping my ass one more time.

Without missing a beat, I turned around and punched him square in the nose, he grabbed at it as he slipped from the seat he was at on the table straight to the ground. "Did you fucking touch her after I just told you not to?" "He slapped my ass!" my brothers look hardened as he let me go and reached down, grabbing the boy by his shirt and throwing him farther from his friends. As he hit the ground my brother threw his hoodie to the ground as he walked over to him, his first kick going straight into his ribs.

I watched as one of the other football players, Reggie Mantle whom I had English with of course, and I couldn't stand him, ran over to grab my brother, screaming for him to chill. Instead I ran over and shoved Reggie away "If you touch my brother, I'll fuck you up!" "Try me, little girl" he said with a smirk as he took steps closer. I took my purse and upper coat off, tossing it with my brothers before I listened as my brother screamed at the guy, knowing he was getting some good hits in for sure.

Reggie grabbed my arm, so I lifted one leg up and twisted around, kicking him in the jaw with my heel, causing him to stumble back as he called me a bitch. I took the time to kick him in the nuts, causing him to double over while I grabbed his ears and part of his hair, and slam my knee into his jaw before throwing him to the side.
