I wish I didn't have to hide who I am.
I wish I didn't have to lie about who I love.
I wish I didn't have to keep things bottled up.
I wish I could be myself without hiding behind a screen.
I wish the person I am is what people would see.
I wish my words would be taken more seriously.
I wish I was old cause then maybe I'd be considered "wise."
I wish the world wasn't so cruel cause then maybe I wouldn't wanna die.
I wish somebody would come and save me from all of society's lies.
I wish my mind wasn't so restless at night.
I wish I had answers so I didn't have to dig as deep.
I wish things from my past would stay where they're supposed to be.
I wish my reflection would show me what I want to see but no, I guess good things don't happen to me.
