I see you in the halls
when I get out of class
You don't look at me
You walk right past
When I see you
I smile and wave
But all I get back
Is a blank face
I saw you on the stairs
And figured I'd say "hi"
But then you saw your friends
And left me behind
I know I'm a year younger
but you don't have to be so rude
I know I can be annoying
but I've given you space
Or is that not enough for you?
I know we didn't hang out all summer
but I wasn't ignoring you.
I just had a lot of stuff to deal with
but now we're in the same school
And I just want you to give me another chance.
