Third Person Point of View

After that party and after that toast, the night continued on. Laughter and chatter can be heard from every corner of the house. Food, glitter, and confetti can be seen littered around, especially on the floor. Mended friendships, strong relationships, mindless children. No one knew how a birthday party can be both an end and a beginning of a story for a lot of people.

Devan and Emma's old relationship has finally ended. Their lives continued. They were all happy. But this epilogue won't be cut short, you know. Miss Author doesn't do that. So, without further ado let's fast forward to 3 more years, shall we?

It was a normal Saturday morning. Quiet, sunny, simple. That is, until a small figure came running to the room and starts to wake up Emma, who was sleeping quite nicely. "Wake up!" The small kid with long brown hair and light brown eyes came, shaking up the similar-looking adult.

Emma groans and rubing her eyes, but not fully waking up.

The kid really wanted Emma awake so she continued to pester the adult until she finally opened her eyes. "What do you want?" Emma manages to squeak out, despite her aching morning throat. The little kid giggled and tugged at Emma's arm.

"Dad told me to wake you up! So here I am." She smiled innocently at the sleepy Emma. Emma smiled at the mention of 'dad' and chuckles.

"Tell him I will kill him.... just kidding." Emma says while she manages to stand up and fix her clothes, and the small girl just laughed. "We kill him with hugs and kisses!!!" She exclaimed. Emma giggles and lifts the kid up. "That's right, my cute little princess."

And with that, Emma slips on some flip flops and walks down stairs to greet her guests.

"There she is! Finally she's awake!" Leila exclaimed when they saw Emma enter the living room. Charize just laughed beside her.

"Charlei did i good job in waking up Auntie Em," Devan spoke up, who was sitting on the singular-sofa, still in his pajamas. Emma rolled her eyes and sat on the floor, between Devan's legs.

Oh, pause that moment.

Leila and Charize adopted a little girl a year after the party. A lot of people have mistaken Charlei as Emma's child, because of the similarities in hair color and eye color.

Anyways, continue!

"I was having a great dream!" Emma whined playfully, slapping Leila's knee (since it was thw closest knee she saw). Lei just laughed while Charize has Charlei sitting on her lap.

"A dream of Devan?" Leila teased and winked. Devan smirked and looked down at Emma. Em just rolled her eyes but looked back at her boyfriend's annoying face. "Whatcha smirking at, babe?" She smirked back at Devan who just smirked even wider.

Yep. That's right!

Let's do a flashback.

Do you remember the party? Right. After a month, Devan and Olive got tired and realized that they're just not compatible anymore. So with a smile and a laugh, they broke up. Olive's brother got shocked when he doesn't see the two couples kissing after a week of the break up. Ethan, well, there was complicaion between his parents that required them to move out the country. Lost of contact and lost of connection forced Emma and Ethan to break up. It was tough for Ethan. (i don't wanna go into detail...)

All in all, fate kinda just played with the four. Just wanted them to taste different waters to make them realize they want the original one.

So back to the present!

"I dreamt of unicorns with pizzas as their horns and Charlei was riding it," Charlei gasos at the though of it and starts to tug on Charize's shirt, saying, "Can you get me a unicorn with pizza horns, Mommy? Please please please!"

"Since Emma said it, she'll do it! Charize said and pointed at Emma, who acted all innocent while laughing.

Devan stared at Charlei happily, thinking about his and Emma's future... Child. He blushes at the thought of having his own family. He doesn't know of he wants to or if he can. But he doesn't think about it too much since he knew that Emma will be with him through this.

And with that, Devan smiled sweetly at his Chocolate Girl, leaving a small kiss on her head, causing Charlei to giggle and cheer. It caused the adults to laugh once again.
