-Third Person Point of View-

It was three weeks ever since Devan and the rest of the Key's went away.

As promised, Emma and Devan did not call nor communicate at all. Hazel and Collins were noticing it and was suspicious, even their parents, who knew the two cannot be separated.

So two days through the break up, they explained their families about the break up and the reason behind it.

"That's the bravest thing you guys did," Mrs. Anderson said with tears in her eyes. The rest of their families agreed with her. (They explained it through a Skype call with the Key's so it was easier to explain, and had both entries and point-of-view's from both parties)

Indeed, it was a brave thing to do; to know the next move to the situation, even if the world is offering you so much moves and actions to do.

But some nights, Emma and Devan would rethink all their decisions.

On the third day of the break up, Emma broke down. Hazel tried taking her to the mall, to cheer her up. But then she saw a wonderful camera and was about to call Devan for it, out of habit. She teared up and the next thing you know, she was crying in the girls rest room.

On the fifth day of the break up, Devan felt empty. Usually he'd spend the days with Collins and make videos, spend days with his family at Sundays, have fun with his friends, and lastly, he'd spend most of his days with Emma. From cuddling and watching movies, to spending dates and  big trips. Now he lies on his bed. Alone. Empty. Lazy. But he had to do it.

On the second week of the break up, Ethan felt like a week through the break up was enough for them to adjust. So he called Emma to see if she wanted to go out as a date (and to check if she was in condition to be going out). Emma said yes, because this was the reason of everything; try things out with Emma and Ethan.

On the second week of the break up, the family of Devan and Emma were careful of their choice of words. Usually they'd talk about Emma and Devan to Devan and Emma, but seeing as that won't work now... it was hard. Especially Hazel and Collins. Seeing their younger siblings through crap? Sigh.

It was a huge adjusting for everyone. Both families were a part of each other's lives for a while. It was a struggle.

Ethan's POV
I was getting ready for our first date ever.

I never thought that this will be our first date. The thought of breaking their relationship once but i immediately dismissed it because it was a very wrong thing to do or even think about. I never actually thought that they would break up. I kinda felt guilty. Screw that. I felt so guilty that I actually tried to redo everything and tell Devan that, Hey man! It's okay! Go get back together I can live with my crush loving somebody else! But the thing is.

Emma likes me back.

I felt like it was a dream. My crush admitted that she has the same feelings (or something like that) for me. I felt so amazing at the first second. Until I realized how messed up it was.

But me and Devan made a mini promise that i'll take care of Emma. Whatever it takes.

So here I was, dressed in a light blue polo (but black skinny jeans) and some decent shoes that aren't sneakers or rubber shoes. It was already 3:45 in the afternoon and I planned on seeing the sunset with her on a hill that I knew has the best view; a picnic and stuff. It was cheesy, but it was a start.

Emma's POV
Ethan took me out to a date. A picnic date while the sun was setting. We talked and pretended that we were back in the days when home works and curfews are the things that we worry. The pretentious act lasted for a while. But I'm doing this for Devan.
