The Last One

A/N: Surprise, surprise! Haha. This special chapter was supposed to be done and posted last August 10, 2014, a year after I posted the first chapter of the story. But then I was so busy with work and my other ongoing stories so it got delayed by a few months. I wrote this as thanks for all the love and support you have given me and the characters of Except You. I may not be able to reply to all your comments anymore, but rest assured that I read every single one of them and I’m so thankful. This is nothing much and I think I lost touch with writing for this story – it’s been months since I finished writing this one – but I hope you guys would still enjoy reading! Saranghaeyo~ <3

Except You – Special Chapter

 

When Byun Baekhyun opened his eyes, he abruptly sat up and gasped. “I’m getting married today.”

Almost a year had passed since he proposed to Bae Eun Mi and they would finally get married. A few weeks ago, he was beyond excited. Three days ago, he started becoming anxious. And right now, he was freaking out. He rushed out of his room and started banging the door of his bestfriend’s room with his fists. He was close to breaking down the door when Chanyeol finally opened it.

Chanyeol still had his eyes closed and he swung the door open with a groan. “Baek, what’s your problem? It’s still midnight. Why are –“

But Baekhyun didn’t answer him and grabbed the front of Chanyeol’s shirt instead. “I’m getting married today, Chanyeol! I’m going to be a married man!” He started shaking the taller one roughly.

Chanyeol’s sleepiness slipped away as his friend’s sudden outburst. “I know, but that’s not enough reason for you to wake me up this early. You have to –“

“Why do days have to pass by so fast?!” Baekhyun had finally let Chanyeol go and was now pacing the hallway with his hands on his face. “I don’t think I’m ready for this. What if I screw everything up? What if something wrong would happen?”

Chanyeol rolled his eyes as the other room on his left opened to reveal a disgruntled and scary-looking Kyungsoo. “What the heck is going on?” He grumbled.

“Baekhyun’s freaking out.” Chanyeol gestured at their other friend who was now crouched down on the floor while rocking his body back and forth.

“I’m going to marry her. I’m finally going to marry Eun Mi. But what if I won’t be able to make her happy?” Baekhyun continued murmuring to himself.

Kyungsoo rubbed his forehead with his hand. “I knew this was going to happen but why does he have to freak out in the middle of the night?!”

Chanyeol got his phone from inside his room. “Should we call Eun Mi? She’s the only one who could calm him down whenever he’s acting –“

“No!” Baekhyun suddenly shrieked and launched himself at Chanyeol. “Don’t call her!”

“Then calm down, Baek!” Chanyeol moved his phone away from Baekhyun’s reach but the latter was still trying to grab it from him.
