"it's you, isn't it?"
Yoona's POV;
A fresh new morning, I thought as I woke up. As always I was wrong.
It was a weekend, so I got up and did my usual morning routine before heading out to my part time job in a nearby convenience store, which I worked full time during the weekends since I had nothing else to do and it earned me some extra money, so why not.
Just before lunch time, one of the customers started getting sick. So sick that I had to call an ambulance. I should've have been surprised, but I was not. It's become too common these days. Not only here in South Korea but all over the world.
I turned on the news to fill in the silence of the convenience store. As usual the increasing rates of sick people and the ads came on. Nothing new to me.
It was break time, so I was in my chair writing down my history homework which I was supposed submit to my teacher on wednesday. But since she and almost half of the school staff was also sick, I didn't really know when and where I was supposed to submit it. Figuring it was better to have it ready, I continued doing it anyway.
That's when I felt something in my heart. It wasn't very painful, just a slight tugging sensation. But I had no idea what this was supposed to mean. Was I getting sick too?
Somehow, it felt familiar. Then I remebered him. It was the same sensation I felt when we first met. But it had been quite a while since he left, so why was I feeling it again? Had he come back? Why would he, though? He told me he hated Earth. Whatever it was, I knew that it was somehow connected to him. There was no other explanation.
-- flashback, 3 years ago --
I was sleeping on the counter of the convenience store I worked in, as I was exhausted from last night. Too much studying I guess? I started experiencing a weird sensation in my heart, like a slight tugging. But I just ignored it and continued sleeping.
Suddenly, I felt someone tapping my shoulder so I quickly got up. It was a customer. My boss is soooo gonna kill me if he found out I was sleeping. I awkwardly smiled at him and asked if I could help him find something.
The man looked to be somewhere between his late teens and early 20s, had an average height and a moderate built, but was really good looking. He had dark hair and dark eyes, but he seemed very distraught and uneasy.
He looked me straight in the eye, the weird tugging sensation in my heart getting stronger. He asked, "Are you Lee Yoona?"
How did he know my name? I wasn't even wearing my nametag.
