Chapter 5: The Battle

Adrien's view

Nino and I were at the park when we saw something happening around the school.

"Dude," Nino said, "I think Kýla got akumatized."

I looked at the villain. She had the same ponytails and clipboard as Kýla, just in different colors.

"Ya it looks like it." I replied
"I need to transform." I thought

"I'm gonna go find Alya and make sure she's ok." Nino said before running off. I ran behind a building so I could transform.

"Plagg! We need to save the school."

"Ya ya." Plagg said unhappily

"Plagg, Claws Out!"

Ladybug's view

Transforming really hurt. I could feel the burning spread further up my arm. But no time for that now.
I ran out of the bathroom and spotted the villain right away. She had a clipboard and was writing on it. Every time she wrote something she would turn to someone and slide what looked like an equation onto them and control them like her own personal zombie army, the way Zombizou did with her kisses.

"Need some help, M'Lady?" I heard from beside me. I turned to see Cat Noir walking towards m, playing with his stick.

"Thanks, Kitty." I replied. I started to spin my yo-yo as Cat and I walked towards the villain.

Cat Noir's view

I jumped into the school and found Ladybug standing by the girls' bathroom, studying the villain.

"Need some help, M'Lady?" I said as I walked towards her.

"Thanks, Kitty." she replied. I love it when she calls me that.

We started walking towards the villain while getting our weapons ready. I saw Hawkmoth's communication symbol appear on her face.

"Ladybug! Cat Noir! Hand over your miraculous!" she yelled as the symbol disappeared.

"Not a chance, equations!" Ladybug yelled back.

"I am not equations! I am Mathmatition! And if you won't hand me your miraculous, I'll just have my math army take it from you!"

She wrote something on her clipboard and turned to Rose and Juleka, who were hugging in the corner trying to protect each other, and slid the equations towards them. They turned into zombies and started to run at us. As Ladybug and I fought them off, Mathmatition kept throwing equations at people to turn them into her army. Suddenly, I heard Ladybug put out a little yell and she fell straight down.

"Are you ok, Ladybug?" I asked while still fighting off villains.

She started to move backwards on the floor and I stepped in front of her to protect her. Mathmatition started throwing equations at us. I heard Ladybug say something and I turned my head towards her and asked what she said. As she was answering she yelled,

"Cat Noir! Look out!"

I looked and Mathmatition threw several big equations at us. I turned towards Ladybug and hugged her to protect her.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

One of the equations hit me.

Ladybug's view

We started fight in Mathmatition. She threw several equations at other people then started to throw them st us. Every time they hit someone she would gain control of them and her army would grow bigger. Bit I noticed something. She would write down different equations and they would mean a different power for who they hit. Some people would be stronger than others. Some would be faster. And some could copy movements. Cat Noir and I were fighting off the equations with our yo-yo and stick when I felt a sharp pain in my arm again. I let out a yell and fell.

"Are you ok, Ladybug?" I heard Cat ask.

I decided to ignore him and started to scoot back to a wall. Cat Noir stepped in front of me and kept fighting off the equations. I looked around and noticed her power came from her clipboard.

"I think the akumas in her clipboard!" I told Cat.

"What?" he said, turning his head towards me.

I started to tell him again bit noticed that several big equations started to come towards us. Cat couldn't fight them off himself but I couldn't get up.

"Cat Noir! Look out!" I yelled

Cat turned his head and then quickly knelt down and hugged me to protect me.

"I'm sorry." He whispered into my ear. And equation hit him.

"Cat Noir!" I yelled

I quickly hugged him back and said, "Its ok. Thank you."

Then I broke off the hug and crawled into the bathroom behind us. I stood up and blocked the door just as people started to bang on it.
