Chapter 9: Help

Marinette's view

I fell on my left side when I hit the ground. I felt a huge shot of pain in my arm and shoulder. I rubbed my hand along my arm and and shoulder till I got to the end of the burning feel. It had gone just below my neck.

"Marinette?! Marinette?!" I heard Tikki shout. I started to cry.

I couldn't do anything but cry.

Shortly after I started, I stopped crying, but not because the pain had gotten easier. But because I was getting weaker. I couldn't move. I could barely hear Tikki as she kept calling my name.

Adrien's view

I got to the ally and saw Marinette still laying there.

She hasn't moved at all. She's just laying there. I thought to myself.

Then I heard a faint whimper and got out of my thoughts. I told Plagg to hide. He hid in my jacket. I acted surprised and called her name.

"A-Adrien?" she said as she slightly lifted her head. I noticed her kwami had hidden.

"What happened? Are you ok?" I asked her as I walked towards her.

"I-I fell. I can't m-move." she said in between groans.

"Here. Let me help you." I said as I bent down.

I started picking her up. She let out a yell as I did.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Y-ya. I'm f-fine." she said.

I wasn't so sure, though.

Marinette's view

I told Tikki to hide in case anyone walked by and found me. After some arguing, she finally hid in my purse. Just as she did, I heard someone call my name. I slightly looked up to see who it was.

"A-Adrien?" I said when I saw him.

"What happened? Are you ok?" he asked as he walked towards me.

I couldn't tell him everything, so I told him that I just fell.

"I can't m-move." I said. That part was very true.

"Here. Let me help you." he said.

He started to pick me up when a shot of pain went up my arm to my neck. I couldn't help but let out a yell.

"Are you ok?" Adrien asked.

I told him I was fine. He paused and then continued to pick me up. He was holding me bridal style. I would be so happy and fan-girling if I wasn't in so much pain.

"We have to get you to the hospital." he said, breaking the short silence.

"No. That wont..." I felt another sharp pain. It was worse than the one before. I yelled.

"Marinette?! Marinette are you ok?!" I heard him say.

Everything was suddenly blurry. I could barely see Adrien. He kept calling my name when I saw Tikki fly up to my face and call me again. Then I saw a little black creature fly up behind Tikki.

Then everything went black.

Adrien's view

Marinette let out a yell. I looked at her and her eyes were almost completely closed.

"Marinette?! Marinette are you ok?!" I said, almost yelling.

I kept calling her name when something caught my attention. Her left hand looked like it had been burnt. The burnt look was all the way up to her neck. Is that why she was acting weird? Then I saw something red fly out of her bag.

"Marinette wake up!" it yelled. It was her kwami.

"Tikki what happened?" Plagg asked as he flew out of my jacket.

Then I noticed Marinette's eyes closed and her breathing shallowed. She had passed out.

"Marinette! Wake up!" I said, lightly shaking her to wake her up.

When that didn't work, I turned towards the two kwami's next to me.

"What do I do?!" I asked. I could feel my eyes filling with tears.

"We need to get to Master Fu!" Ladybug's kwami said. I think Plagg said her name was Tikki.

"But I don't know where he is!" I replied.

"We'll show you." Plagg said. "Follow us!"

They quickly flew off and I ran behind them. I could feel tears running down my cheeks as I quietly begged Marinette to be ok.

"Please be ok, Marinette. Please."
