Chapter 4: Mathmatition

Adrien's view

Class released for lunch. Marinette still wasn't back yet. Nino and Alya seemed concerned also, so Alya decided to go check on her. We walked out of class and Alya headed to find Marinette while Nino and I were talking. We noticed Chloé bullying Kýla and decided to get her to stop.

"Well it's not MY fault I don't have to be smart." we over heard her say.

"Stop it Chloé. Bullying isn't nice." I said firmly bit not to harsh.

"But Adrikins, shes just a nerd who's only good for doing other people's home work."

"No she's not, Chloé." I replied

"No. She's right." Kýla responded, hugging her clipboard, "I've never had any real friends because people say the same thing and just use me for it. I thought coming here it would be different but I guess not. I'm better off being the nerd who has no friends besides her text books." she started to cry and ran away.

"Kýla!" Nino and I called after her.
"Chloé that wasn't very nice! Look what you did!" I said angrily towards her.

"So what? She's just a nerd and a cry baby." she whipped her pony tail around and started to walk away, Sabrina right behind her.

"Calm down, dude." Nino said, placing his hand on my shoulder, "lets go check on her."
I nodded and we started walking towards the doors.

Kýla's view

I ran out of the school to the bridge. She, who ever she was, was right. I'm just a math nerd who will never have any true friends. I dropped on a rock and dropped my clipboard. I just sat on my knees crying. Then I saw a black and purple butter fly land on my clipboard and a man started talking in my face.

"Mathmatition, I am Hawkmoth. I saw what that spoiled girl Chloé did to you. I am giving you the power to control her and anybody else you want. But you must do something in return. Retrieve the earrings of Ladybug and the ring of Cat Noir and give them to me."

"Thank you Hawkmoth." I said, standing up.
A black and purple goo covered me and changed my clothes and gave me powers.
"Let's go back to school!"
I high jumped all the way to school.

Marinette's view

"Are you ok Marinette?" Tikki asked.

"I don't know, Tikki."

The burn look was spreading up my arm. I was a little last my wrist now.

"It really hurts, Tikki." I said, looking up at her.

"Marinette?" I heard Alya call into the bathroom, "Are you ok?"

"Uh y-ya ya I'm fine! I, uh, I fell and hurt my wrist to I, uh, had to go to the nurses and it, um, took a lot longer than I thought it would!" I lyed quickly.

"Oh, ok. Well it's lunchtime now. I gotta go. See you later. Hope your wrist feels better!" she said as she left the bathroom.

"B-bye!" I called back. When I heard the door close I gave a slight sigh of relief.
That was close. I thought.

Then I heard screams come from outside of the bathroom and people yelling.

"Ladybug! Cat Noir! Help!"

"There's an akuma!"

"Run away!"

"Oh no Tikki!" I said, giving her a worried look.

"You have to transform, Marinette!" she replied

"You're right. I hope it's AN easy villain." I said as I stood up.

"Tikki, spots on!"
