Liesel Meminger had the itch to steal something that morning as Rudy left for work she had no idea what she wanted to steal but the boy could tell she was going to be some trouble so he decided to turn around and not open the shop that day
It wasn't of great inconvenience he'd rather watch over his girl then worry
Although there was still plenty of that when he was in the same room as him
He walked into the house startling Liesel who was getting a jump start on some cleaning  for the day
Liesel: Jesus Mary and Joseph you scared me... what did you need, did I forget to pack your lunch I'm so sorry honey this is such an inconvenience
The boy just laughed
Rudy: no honey I came home for you I decided to close the shop today and just stay home with you
The itch in her fingers was unbearable
Rudy: let me help you fix that. Go get ready I'll be waiting
The girl washed up and got changed
She came down looking as beautiful as ever
Rudy was mesmerized by his girl
Rudy: there's my happy girl, you know what I'm going to bring you to work everyday you clearly need some fresh air instead of being stuck up in this stuffy place reading all day long..
Liesel just giggled as he took her hand and  opened the door for her
He walked with one arm around her and one holding her hand
She loved the boy with her entire heart
He stole it and she stole his the two thieves
The pair lived in Paris
So it was only fair to Liesel if she got to explore the outside world after seeing what she does for him he wanted to gift her a day with him just the two of them
Liesel looked like she was in Frau Diller's again
Rudy: Remember the time when we shared that piece of candy from Frau  Diller's
Liesel: how could I forget! Ten licks each..
Rudy: those were the days
Liesel: ja I miss ma Mama  and Papa, My real Mama, Werner...
Rudy: Werner? Who's that ?
Liesel: I guess it hurt too much to tell but my little brother Werner died the day I came to Himmel street he was supposed to come with me but he didn't make it... only 6 years old he was all I had left
Rudy:I'm sorry Liesel...
Liesel: it's ok but I'm so happy we met that day Rosa calling  you an Arschloch because you were staring made me like you
Rudy: yeah I knew I loved you from that moment I told Tommy that I wanted to Marry you he said yeah if he doesn't do it first so I punched him pretty hard
Liesel: you did that because of me?
Rudy: you were meant to be mine I just knew it
Liesel: blöder Trottel
Rudy: ja mon Amor
Liesel: Rudy you learned some French
Rudy: Ja, only for you baby ;)
Liesel: shut up saukerl
He took her hand and lead her through a field just as they did when they were kids just 5 years ago
That sat in the forest that day by a dock which brought them back to home
He knew she was his soulmate and he was hers
