Amaya's POV

They say that promises are meant to be broken and that you should never trust someone's words.

Kyouhei? Is it alright for me to put my faith in and you?

"A lot of promises are said and kept for a long time, but never fulfilled. What makes your promise different from the seven billion other promises in the world?"

"What makes them different..."

Yes, what makes you different Kyouhei? In the short time that I've known you, you always me made feel like there was some sort of assurance in you words and us meeting again is proof of that.

"I know, how about we call it a vow instead of a promise, that way it will be different."

"Is that supposed to be a joke?"

"No, no, not at all. I mean a promise is common and simple like; 'I promise to take you to Tokyo Tower tomorrow' or something like that. But a vow, it's like it has more meaning and will make you feel more obligated."

"So are you saying that you feel obligated to make get my memories back?"

"No, no that's not i meant. I mean....god it's so hard to explain. Okay, so how about..."

He got off the bed and knelt down in front of me like he was about to make a marriage proposal, it made my heart skip a beat and my cheeks flushed.

"I vow, that from this day on I will do anything in my power to help you regain your memories and find your true self."

I didn't know how to respond to that, just hearing those words and the way he looked at me with his dark mysterious eyes made me feel all tingly inside, and it felt so good.

But, if you ever found out the truth will you still be able to look at me like that? Will you still keep this vow that you speak of?

"Kyouhei, about your question earlier..."

"Which question?" He asked as he stood up.

"The one where you asked if I was human..."

"Yeah...what about it?"

"If I told you the truth, would you still treat me the same way that you do now?"

"What you mean will I still treat you the same? I mean---"

"Kyouhei, will you still like at me the same way that you did earlier if you found out what I really am?"

He didn't answer me.

"Well?"

"I..."

"You're hesitating, aren't you?"

He looked down and stayed like that for a few seconds, I had no idea what was going on his head, I didn't know how he would respond to me. My heart was beating so fast, I was nervous. His silence was like a painful, irritating scream echoing in my head. I asked myself, what would you do if he says no? Is it really okay for me to get my hopes up again and have them crushed in the end? Well... i guess, it should be alright...I mean I should already be used to it by now.

He clenched his fists and said "I...I will. Of course I will, I'll never treat you differently no matter what you are, a vow is a vow and I will keep my word to you no matter what or who you are. The way I looked at you earlier, i can look at you like that anytime you want...so please, Amaya. I want you to trust me."

"I see." I said, as looked out the window, it was almost dawn.

The dark night sky was starting to brighten, the sky cleared up as the sun rose from it's slumber in the horizon.

"It's almost time."

"Time for what?"

"For twilight..."

"Twilight..."

"So then Kyouhei, shall I show you...who I really am?"
