I finally made it back to HQ and followed the noise back to where I had left Levi and Jake in the hallway. I pushed through the crowd of spectators to find that Levi had Jake in a chokehold on the floor. Hanji was desperately trying to pull Levi off. "Levi, let him go!" I yelled. He looked up to me in surprise. Jake caught him off-guard and punched him in the jaw. There Hanji dragged Levi away while Jean held Jake back. "What is wrong with you two?!" I yelled.
"This brat seriously thinks he's better than me." Levi grumbled.
"Because I am!" Jake struggled in Jean's grip.
"Emma." Erwin came up behind me. I know what he's thinking...
"Emma I can't keep doing this anymore!" Jake yelled at me. "Make up your mind!"
"Ugh." I gripped my head and tried to sort out my feelings. I can't keep this up... It's not fair to anybody. I need to choose... I have to choose...
Suddenly my mind cleared and my answer was obvious. It was them all along. "Okay..." I started. "I choose..."
