(sitting in car, writing)
I'm climbing, though the roads get rough and I barely see my way. I'm climbing, moving more and more and more each and ev'ry day. And I know that there's a reward waiting up for me! Though I cant see it now. I'm determined to run on anyhow. And if anyone asks you more about me....tell them, I'm climbing.
La la la la lalalaaaaaa ohhhhh yeeeaaah! I'm climbing!
...Yep! Hit in the making!
...... Putting het handy notepad and pen down) Well it's time for me to blow this joint! LOL, i cant believe i jus thought of something corny like that. (Driving along the express) maybe I'm going insane. Or maybe I just need some fresh air and a little music (turning up the radio. Monica's Love All over me is playing.) "Girl, you need to be happy you got love all over you. SOme folks ain't got none. Like me. You got money, house, dat nice fiance, kids, THE look, yeah, you're blessed. So stop complaining and sing something happy!..OK, let's see what else is on,"(flipping channels, singing along) "I got my speakers goin hammer! Bammer, bammer, bammer! Speaker's goin HAMMER! Bammer, bammer, bamer! " Ooh look, there's a help wanted sign for that office building. I wonder if I could do the work. Omg, look! The place is an apartment complex! I might could even stay here.
"Sorry ma'am, but this job is only open to people eighteen and up."
"Ma'am! That is very unfair. I really need this job, I can do the work."
"Again, I'm sorry but there's a reason we're only offering it to adults. The job is kinda like a secretary. You'll have to do a little scheduling and a bunch of paperwork. You'll have to use a somewhat advanced computer program, and may even have to type reports. We're requiring a highschool degree or at the very least, a GED."
"Ma'am, it's not like I'm some highschool drop-out! I'm still in school, it's just that I've recently.. moved. That's all. But I promise you that I can do the work. I've took typing and computer in school befor. And we write a bunch of papers! I'm no straight A student but I usually make all A's and B's-"
"Ma'am!" the apartment personel lady was starting to get upset and annoyed as Kim tryed to prove her point.
"Please Lady! Give me a chance! You don't even have to pay me as much, starting out of course, as you normally would!" Kim didn't notice, or didin't care. She only wanted a job.
"Ma'am. That's quite enough. I have heard everything you have to say. And all I heard was some little high-school girl whining! The answer is still no." Everything in Kim's body said defeat. Her sigh of agony, her face, and even her limp as she walked away. Tired of trying...The Lady must've have felt some small ounce of pity. Beacause she said,
"Give me one really good reason why I should hire you."
At first, Kim was depressed she didin't even hear her, but then it clicked. She stopped. And she turned around. She looked dumb founed but, a lightbulb came on and her brain screamed: Tasha's DAAAAAAAADDDDDDDD! "I may be stepping out on a whim. But, I think...I can get you a really good recomendation."
"Hmm. Very well then, goodbye."
Kim was shocked. Why did the lady even get hopes up? If she was just gonna dismiss her again like that. She was about to demand an explanation when the lady spoke again,
"What are you waiting for??? Go get the reccomendation. Come back. I'll be the judge of whether it's 'really good' or not...And if you want this job, it better be."
