We all have had depressions in our lives, some people more than others. How can you get rid of your depressions or avoid them. There ar a lot of ways you can do this. Here are some good ways I suggest to you.
Talk to people
If you feel sad or left out, talking with a good friend can really help you out. Not only does this give you an opportunity to share your emotions, it also lets your friend help you. If you have a bad situation and a friend is there to help you and so you'll eventually come out of that situation with much more confidence. If you don't want to talk to your friends or you feel unsure about it, you can always talk to your family or online help centers.
Example: If you hate going to school and get a bad mood each time you have to go there, theb a friend might give you some help. A good optimistic friend gives you the courage to go to school and fills your schooldays up with funny jokes and nice stories. Even though you don't like going to school, you'll have a reason to go there now. And slowly but surely your hate against school, and your depression will fade away.
Listen to music
Music is a powerful thing in life. It shares emotions without needing a text. Because music does so much to people, it can be really helpful. If you don't really like to talk with people about a depression, try searching for music and listening to their songtext carefully. The best songs I suggest you to listen are songs with happy or encouraging songtexts or tones.
If you would listen to sad or raging songs, you would think about those songs and connect them to your life. This would make you more depressed or unstable. Happy and encouraging songs change your point of vieuw to life. If you listen them for enough times, you'll eventually believe them. You will think of a way how to arcieve the positive things mentioned in the songtext. This means you changed your mind. You no longer think about life being a mess, you now think about how to make your life better.Extra: Of course you can still listen to sad music because those kind of songs are often the most beautiful ones.
Smiling
You probably notice this a lot. All people walking down the streets, driving their cars, doing their jobs... The biggest part of those people don't smile in these cases. That's normal, because they don't really have a reason to smile while driving or doing their job. But if you don't have a rrason for something, then make a reason for it for your own. Smiling is good for you in many different ways.
If you are on a bus, or in your car, or even at your work looking out of a window and see the nice weather outside, try to smile about it. It won't change a lot, but you'll feel a little bit happier. If you remind yourself to smile now and then, you'll eventually smile much quicker with little things and feel a bit happier in your life.Making or listening to jokes
In some cases, jokes might not fit in the situation at all, but if you have personal problems with depressions or feelings this really could help you out. If you have a friend near you who can cheer you up by making a lot of silly jokes, they can give you distraction. In this way, you will temporarely forget your sorrows and even forget them on a long duration. And besides, then you'll surely know you have a friend on your side who can help you no matter what happens.
