Dipper's POV

Good thing (your name) is observant or she would of been killed in five seconds flat. Pacifica reeked of expensive perfume and looked at me with thin, piercing eyes. It was hard to believe she was ever really pretty, back when we were kids. She pursed her lips as if she was about to whistle, then stopped abruptly and sat on a nearby rock.

"I know what you're thinking. Why confront you now? I mean, I was over you years ago, right? Wrong. Dipper Pines, I liked you. I really did. All the other boys in town fell at my feet, but I didn't want them. I wanted you." Pacifica stood, her legs were long and thin and pale. "So, be with me. We could live happily ever after. Prince and Princess, forever. And, if you refuse, I can simply send my guards to kill your precious girlfriend. Your choice."

My eyes burned with tears.

"If you promise to leave her alone. I'll stay with you forever. Just, just don't hurt her." I pleaded.

"Very well then. She can live..."

"For now." I heard her mutter under her breath.

"Please." I muttered one last time, and I fell to my knees.

"And you will love me," Pacifica stood and walked over to me, grasping my face in her thin hands. "whether you like it, or not." and she kissed me. It felt wrong. I wanted to throw up.

Pacifica and I separated, and she looked at the guards.

"Raoul, Alfonso, bring the girl back, dead or alive, I don't care. Just bring her back." and with that, Pacifica turned and one of the girls hit me in the head with something. I blacked out.

Your POV

Your head was spinning. What were you supposed to do, run forever? Your lungs burned and your feet ached, but you kept running, you wouldn't let them get you, let Pacifica get you. You felt as if you would collapse any second.

Then you heard it.

Rustling.

Very loud rustling.

Something big was coming.

You ran until you reached a small stream. You began to trek across it when the men in suits appeared. They began to run towards you, but hesitated when they reached the stream. They finally jumped the stream chasing you like dogs after a deer. You kept running, they were fast, but you were faster. You stayed as quiet as you could be, but you were breathing heavily. One other noise could be heard.

The sound of machine parts moving.

These guys were like robots, automatons, fakes.

You knew their weakness.

Water.

Water would stop them from working. you needed to find water.

There. Out of the corner of your eye you spotted a lake. Yes. Okay. Plan?

You were going to jump in the lake, and they would have to follow. They were probably twenty feet away now, but they were gaining on you. fifteen feet, no, ten, five... you jumped into the lake. Your boots filled with water and you ducked your head under the water. There was nothing else in the lake yet. just you. but then you saw the first robots foot touch the water. Then you realized your plan had a serious flaw.

If the robots would electrocute themselves in water, what would happen to you.

'Swim.' You thought. 'Swim until you reach something, anything.'

You didn't feel it at first. A small shock, nothing more than a static shock from when you take clothes out of a dryer.

The second shock, you did feel. It burned you to the core, but you continued to swim. your muscles tightened and for a second, you though you might not live.

You were not going to let that happen.

You saw a small island less than thirty feet away. you could reach it if you kept going. twenty feet, another shock, bigger. it made you spasm a little but you painfully trudged on. ten feet. you were so close. a sudden, strong bolt of electricity hit you, and your body just couldn't take it. you were five feet away and you would drown, all because of a plan that was thought of in a hurry. you blacked out just as you reached the shallows of a small secluded beach.

"Are you awake?" you heard a voice ask. it was a woman's voice, soft, barely more than a whisper.

"Unnnnng?" you replied. your tongue felt thick and dry. the woman poured some cool water into your mouth, and it instantly helped. your body was sore and had no intention of moving.

The woman helped you sit up against a tree, out of the sun. and you could finally see her face. she was pretty, with long, red hair and pale, freckled skin. She was wearing a green plaid shirt and boots with blue jeans. she kinda looked like a lumberjack or something. you finally got your mouth to work, but not very well.

"Thanks." you manage.

"No problem. When a half dead lady washes up on my beach, I kinda have to notice." The redheaded lady says kindly. "Wendy." she offers.

"(Your name)."

"Well, we better get you home. where do you live?" Wendy asked, braiding a tiny piece of her red hair.

"Gravity Falls."

"Well yeah, but where in gravity falls?" Wendy asks.

"Um, The Mystery Shack." you reply.

Wendy didn't respond, but after a minute, she said,

"Yeah, okay."

"So, you'll take me?" you ask.

"Sure thing." Wendy walks into the trees and you follow her. She leads you to what seems to be the other side of the island. She jumps on a little speedboat and you hop on behind her. she starts the engine and starts motoring away from the tiny island.

"So, how long will it take to get there?" you ask.

"Uh, maybe fifteen minutes at the most." Wendy replied, steering the boat.

"Oh, alright." you say quietly.

You don't speak the rest of the ride.

Mabel's POV

"Grunkle Stan! It's almost midnight! Where's Dipper!?" I yelled at my ancient uncle, who was pacing and drinking a Pitt soda.

"I don't know Mabel. We'll just wait it out for a little." Stan says, and he sounds a little nervous. I sigh and flop down on the floor.

"Stan!" I heard a familiar voice call.

"Wendy!" I yell and shoot up and open the door.

Wendy is standing at the door with a wet, dirty (your name) at her side.

"Omygoodness!" I yell. "What happened."

"Pacifica." (your name) says in a low sneer. "she, sniff, has Dipper." The growl disappeared into a tiny son and then (your name) fell to her knees. I followed and we cried at the front door. Wendy looked a little teary eyed and Stan looked shell shocked.

"W-we have to get him back!" (your name) sobbed.

Wendy's face saddened.

"We can't," Wendy said sadly. "no one gets away from Pacifica and lives."

And we all fell to our knees.
