Half-Bloods and Mixed Bloods

"What?" I asked Avery.

"Did I stutter?" he deadpanned. "It's not really rare for a supernatural god to have a mortal offspring."

"Yes, and it would explain your white eyes, your memory loss, your odd smell that reminds us of the moon and Olivia's obsession with you," Brent added.

"Oh," was all I could mutter.

"Baby," Stephen said, holding my hands and made me look at him. "No matter what you are, we will still love you. You could be a poop for goddess' sake."

"Thank you," I whispered. Both my mates wrapped their arms over me and gave me a warm hug.

"That's sweet, Stephen. But a poop?" Avery deadpanned. Seriously, he really looks like a bratty kid.

"It was the first thing that came to mind!" Stephen defended. We all laughed it off and went for breakfast.

The day went by smoothly, it was weird without Kaitlyn but I made a new friend.

"And then, I just," he snapped his fingers, "killed him just like that."

Erwin, as you can recall, is a high ranking werewolf. He is one of the rare ones who has 2 designations, a Selsa and a Delta.

He is now narrating how he rescued a five-year old Aaron and Stephen. Turns out, Aaron and Stephen were best friends ever since they were little pups.

"Wait, how old were you then?" I asked him. Judging by how he looks, he is the same age as us, younger even. Frail, pale- oh.

I made an 'o' shape with my mouth and he gave me a wink, "But I thought Avery-"

"Is the first known halfblood of werewolves and vampires, yes. But I'm like, an eighth. Just a teeny bit," he said, a smile plastered on his face.

"But how old are you?"

"That's one of Earth's greatest mysteries," a man's voice said from the door.

"Sir Gaither," Erwin stood up and bowed.

"Oh, jeez Erwin. Don't call me "sir", I should be the one calling you that," Gaither replied. It's only the second time I'll be seeing Aaron's dad.

"Luna," he bowed his head. I stood up and full on bowed.

"Sir Gaither," I sqeaked.

Gaither and Erwin both laughed at me. "Luna, you have a higher rank than sir Gaither, well, anyone else in this pack except for the alphas."

"I-I, uh," I stuttered.

"59," Gaither said out of the blue. I looked a him, completely baffled but then realized what it meant when Erwin launched himself towards Gaither.

Erwin gave Gaither a straight punch on the face, but the latter held the former's wrist. They both stopped moving, staring at each other's eyes, lips partially opened.

I heard a ceramic mug broke behind me and saw that it was Margaret. "You've got to be kidding me."

I gave her a "what the hell are you talking about?" look. She only raised her brow at me with a "you seriously don't know?" look.

It was then I realized what she meant and looked over at the two men in front of me.

"Mates."

What am I planning? I also don't know. *facepalm
I'm so weird.
