Let There Be War
The sky darkened, the pressure of the atmosphere has changed. Both my mates held my hand as we took in the gravity of the situation.
Large thuds came from the barrier, the gods kept on firing magical cannons to break it.
"We might not make it alive, but know that I will always love you," I said to them while giving them a chaste three-way kiss on the lips.
They tried to make me stay in the bunker since I'm pregnant, but I am the Luna and I am a god, I need to show the pack that I am strong enough for them.
I placed my hand on my stomach. Feeling the heartbeat of my children.
Remember, if you die, they'll die too.
"Hi," a voice rang inside my head.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"It's us. Your mates' wolves. At least once, we'll talk right?" another voice said.
"Hi," Apollo greeted.
"What do you-"
"Don't die, and we'll talk more," I cut him off.
The ground shook, as the light of the barrier slowly faded.
One final thud, and sphere shattered like glass, like the barriers of Agatha and Vericka. As the broken pieces fell, their color faded and they dissipated into thin air.
It has been three days since we planned this battle. And it'll work.
I hope.
My mom and Freya only floated above all of us, spectating, and waiting to heal the injured. It was the least they could do considering, they'll die if they fight them.
As the deadly murderous intent of the five gods approaches, everyone braced themselves.
The five balls of blazing light stopped in front of us and the werewolf god landed on the ground, "Are you sure about this?" he asked.
There was silence in the air. No one dared to speak a word.
I inhaled deeply, letting everything in. Okay, Klyde, you can do it.
Go make me proud.
I was about to yell when-
"Let the battle of the supernatural creatures and the gods commence!" A yell from the woods made us all look.
It took three more seconds until a figure presents itself. Then another one, then a few more, until a large number of wooden creatures came dashing towards the gods.
"It's the fairies!" Margaret cheered.
The goblins rose from the ground, carrying large blunt weapons, carelessly swung it all over the place.
A dark smoke shot up from nowhere, and bats came flying with it.
"Avery!" I cheered and gave him a hug. He looked bigger now. Like, an actual teenager. While Charlie and Orson remained the same.
A large wave of water approached us. The merpeople nodded in our direction before joining us, splashing the water and transformed in their land form.
"I'm sorry we couldn't persuade the witches," the Emperor of the Sea, Atlantis, said.
"It's okay," Aaron replied, not looking away from the wide-eyed gods with his golden eyes.
"So you do dare defy us," the goddess of the mermaids hissed.
"We know what you're planning," Avery spat, walking in front of the vampires as formed their battle stances, eyes red, nails sharp and fangs present.
"And we will not let that happen," the Goblin Chief continued. The goblins raised their weapons.
The Emperor of the Sea joined his people, the big orb of water disperses, and the remaining merpeople has got into their land forms, "Because we are not governed by you."
"We are created by only one god," Stephen yelled, holding my right hand.
Aaron clutched on my left hand, "The Moon Goddess is our only god!"
"Pathetic mortals," the goddess of the fairies mocked.
"Okay," the werewolf god lowered his head. When he raised them, his eyes were on deadly glowing gold color.
"Let there be war," he said with a menacing tone.
"Let there be war!" All of us yelled and ran towards the gods.
וו
Let there be waaaaarrrr! Yaaaas! I think it's the last battle. But there will be more to come. Olivia the Witch is still alive. Who knows what she's gonna do?
Uhhh. You?
Oh.
