Chapter Twenty

Pregnant?

"Stay with me, baby," I heard Aaron cried.

"Baby, please, hold on," Stephen added, their faces are on my chest, sobbing.

"Oh, do shut up," I said to them.

"Baby? Doctor! He's awake!" Aaron ran to the door and yelled. A few seconds later, Charlie came in with Avery on his tail.

"Hello, Luna," Charlie greeted, checked the papers from the clipboard on my bedside table and checked the things that are attached to me.

"Alphas, Avery, would you leave me alone with Klyde, please?" Charlie said. The three hesitantly agreed before leaving.

"I didn't know you were a doctor," I said jokingly.

"4 PhDs on humans and about 5 in the Supernatural ain't so bad," he replied. "Look, I have some news for you."

"Bad ones?" I asked.

"Do you want the bad one or the worse?" he said. I thought he was serious for a moment there but he laughed it off. "Luna, you are immuned to Wolfsbane."

"Oh, my goddess, Margaret!" I said to him and was about to sit up when he held me down.

"She's okay, it was only a scratch to her but she is okay." I relaxed at his words. "You however has a deep wound on your stomach and the blade almost hit the babies."

My world stopped for a moment there and I shook my head. "What?"

"Luna-"

"You're pregnant?!" Avery asked out loud.

"Shh, only the three of us know," I said to Avery, placing a hand over his mouth.

"How long?" he asked.

"About a month," I replied.

"Gosh, that explains why you mix Nutella and cucumber," he said with a smile. Yep. He smiles. Ever since he mated with Charlie, Avery became a completely different boy, man, man-boy. "Oh, gosh. I have a surprise to you too."

He led me outside and head out to the training grounds. After the Olivia incident, the security has been tripled, making it safer for us to go outside.

"What are we doing he- Oh, my goddess!" I yelled as I saw a black wolf that has almost the same size as mine.

"Avery, you can transform!" I cheered. Avery licked my face. "And you seem kind of happy these days."

He reverted back to his human form, put on his clothes and gave me a toothy smile.

"So, how are you gonna tell them?" Avery asked while we were walking inside.

"Tell us what?" Aaron asked from behind us.

I struggled to say something, an excuse. I want to surprise my mates, like a grand one.

"That we're on good terms," Margaret interjected.

"Oh," was all my mates said.

"That's good, Marge. Thank you," Stephen said, hugging his Beta.

"Yeah. Luna, a word please?" Margaret asked. I looked at my mates and they only nodded.

She led me to the balcony. Yes, the same balcony we got attacked but the guards are everywhere now, so it's all good.

I was about to ask her what the deal was but she only gave me a hug. A warm, sincere hug.

"Thank you," she said.

"Y-Youre welcome," I replied. I felt her sob on my shoulders and I only rubbed her back to put her at ease.

"I don't hate you," she said, letting me go. "Well, I have to tell you my story."

I gave her a warm smile and led her to the chairs.

"3 years ago, I met my mate. He was a human," wait, was? "But he was gay, married and a non-believer of the supernatural. He downright rejected me."

She broke down in tears again, I sat next to her and offered my shoulder for her to cry on. "It cost me my wolf and almost my title of Beta."

"Wait, you don't have a wolf anymore?" I asked her.

She sat up and shook her head.

"Then who is Klint talking to?!"

Oh, I just realized that Klyde, Aaron and Stephen shares the same birthday as my dad. I forgot my dad's...
