Chapter Thirty-One

Queen of the Titans

"She ambushed us," Kaitlyn said.

"Oh, let me guess. Part of your plan?" Stephen mocked.

"Stephen," Aaron placed his hand on our mates' shoulder, "Just let her talk."

"Olivia knew that sooner or later, we were going for the flower. That's why she burned the tree and prepared an ambush," Margaret said, wincing at the contact of the cotton balls Luke was applying.

Brent and Gaither were at the infirmary, with the former being finally conscious.

"How do I use this?" I asked Kaitlyn, she walked towards me and held the stem of the flower.

"Urdox ivven ult miind, seschaha vul ayo ess," Kaitlyn whispered. There was a light at the end of the stem. The light trailed up, creating intricate curvy patterns as it did.

Kaitlyn let go of the stem, with it still glowing. "Say it, by the power of the moon, give me your light," she instructed. I nodd

"By the power of the moon, give me your power," I muttered.

A swirl of wind enveloped me and glitters of light erupted from the flower. It hovered over my head, then trailed down to my body.

It was then that I felt my energy being restored. My eyes turned to silver as I feel my powers come back.

Goddess. This is better than an orgasm!

Debatable.

I savored the moment until it was all over. All eyes were on me.

"Thank you Kaitlyn," I said and gave her a hug.

"No worries," she replied, hugging me back.

Stephen and Aaron walked out. Right after they closed the door, they began arguing. Margaret rolled her eyes as Luke rolled the bandage on her arm.

When they re-entered the room, Stephen wore a scowl and Aaron has a smile on his face. "Okay Kaitlyn, you are welcome back to the pack. But Margaret has to keep an eye on you," Aaron cheered.

"Thank you Aaron, but no."

I broke out of the hug and gave her a questioning look, "What? Why?"

Kaitlyn chuckled. "I'm the Queen of the Titans now. My mate is the Titan King," Margaret said.

We all gasped and our eyes widened. "What the fuck." I sighed out.

It was then that Kaitlyn smacked her little brother. "You are such a bad influence on him!"

"It's not all me!" Stephen defended.

"Yeah, like Aaron would say something like that!" Kaitlyn mocked, pinching Stephen's ear.

"He does, ouch! He does! In sex! He's the dirtiest talker among all of us," Stephen defended.

Kaitlyn looked at me for permission and I just gave her a knowing smile and a shrug. I saw fire in her eyes.

Aaron was about to run for his dear life but Kaitlyn got ahold of his ear.

"Just like old times," Gaither said. The three were giggling, with Kaitlyn punishing my mates for their behavior.

"Since when did you get here?" I asked him.

"Eh, some time after the hug," he said with a wink. Brent clinging in his arm.

It was a fun night. Kaitlyn had her closure with the pack, I'm safe and we're happy.

I haven't realized that I was too happy. And interacted with my mates too much. I knew the thing when you give too much, something will be taken.

It was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.
