Chapter Nineteen

Margaret vs The Witch

Everyone gasped at the revelation. Same sex mates are appearing in every pack in the world.

I stood up in between my mates. Erwin and Avery are awake and stood on each sides of us.

"Your alphas and our lover, the former alpha and the Selsa and Delta of the Blood Winter pack, the Selsa from the Crimson Harvest and the Gamma from the Blood Winter Pack has same sex mates," Aaron introduced. I was anxious at their reactions at first. I've read from the books that even though the world is slowly accepting same sex couples, there is still stigma. And I hope there won't be in here.

The room went silent for a bit, I bit my lip in anticipation.

I closed my eyes. Then, hollers and cheers burst out the room.

"Hurray!"

"Congratulations!"

"Yey!"

"Thank you for your support everyone," Stephen said to them with a smile.

I looked at them, everyone was cheering. All but one, Margaret. She was smiling, but that's about it.

Talk to her.

I will.

"Margaret?" I linked her. She raised her brow and looked at me. "Meet me at the balcony later, 6PM I need to talk to you."

She only nodded in agreement and looked away. You could see how few female werewolves are present. Only 3 girls are in this room. It would've been four if Kaitlyn didn't betray us.

"Now, for the real agenda," Aaron said after all the cheering. "We need to send our Gamma, Brandon, to the council to discuss the new rules about the same sex mates. We need to abolish the old ones like..." he trailed off and looked at Avery who opened a folder that says "Rules to Abolish". Since when did they planned this?

"The day you became our mate," Aaron answered in the link.

"Oh," was all I said and gave him a smile.

"A family can only be a unit when there is a father, a mother or a single one of these two," Avery started. He said a lot more things to change like discrimination laws, bathroom laws, and a lot more things.

After that, my mates opened the floor for more suggestions.

After the meeting, it was about quarter to five. I excused myself to my mates to talk to Margaret whom came with me to the balcony.

"What is it?" she said bitterly.

"Why do you hate me?" I asked her.

"I don't hate you," she replied, lighting a cigarette and puffing it. "I hate gay people."

"And why?"

"Not gonna say anyth-" she was cut off by a sword almost hitting her in the face, she luckily dodged it.

"Klyde!" Olivia screamed from the dark forest.

"Squad 1, 2 and 3, we have a witch on the West Side Gate!" Margaret said on the link.

She leaped down to chase where the sword came from, transforming to her wolf form.

Go!

I did as Klint told me, transforming to my white haired wolf and running after Margaret.

"Wait for me!"

"Why the hell are you following me?!" Margaret scolded.

"I wanna help!" I insisted. She turned me down more but I caught up with her, she rolled her eyes and ran towards the cloaked figure, that is Olivia.

She sped up and pounced on the cloak, but there was no one there.

Olivia appeared above Margaret, holding a dagger with blue liquids that I suspect is Wolfsbane.

"Margaret!" I attacked Olivia, focusing my fang on her neck. We fell down and I felt something on my stomach, my body weakened but I still continued on clawing her.

I felt my body weaken even more. She threw me off of her and walked towards me, about to stab me but Margaret's reddish-black wolf took her from my vision.

She clawed Olivia's face and body, dodging each if Olivia's attacks.

My mates got to me shortly after, carrying my limp body as I reverted back to my human form.

Margaret's stomach was slightly injured. It would be a quick fix for wolves but the blade has Wolfsbane.

With about 100 wolves running after Olivia, I passed out.

Heya! I succ at narrating fights, but I did put a lot of effort in this. And please do note that English is not my first language, nor my second. So it's pretty hard for me to whisk up a sentence. ("Whisk up"? Seriously?)
